And it doesn’t even have to be free text but just some kind of communication line besides pointing and crouching.

    Sometimes I communicate with my dog by crouching and pointing at her nose :)

    Actually, though, I think a few meaningful emotes wouldn't be bad. Like one that indicates the word 'killer'. That way you could say 'killer' and then point.

    My preference is to avoid voice chat or open chat in solo queue though. I'm sure that I don't want to know what certain Aces or Megs are thinking when they show up next to me on a gen. But a few emotes sound great to me!

    Honestly Id prefer Proximity Chat. It would be funny to hear your teammates screaming as they are running away from the Killer, and as they move further away the screams get quieter.

    We'll probably never get it because BHVR did not build the game around it but it's something Id love to see, it leans more towards having a Voice Chat but keeping it casual.

    The last thing I personally want is to give the lovely toxic and immature children I encounter in this game to have more ways to communicate directly with me. Part of the appeal of this game is that I don't have to listen to obnoxious edgy kids or read their post game nonsense and I am sure I am not alone.

    I am fine with the level of communication that is possible in this game

    I hope the developers read this thread and reintroduce the “no” gesture from DBD Mobile to Core. We have no ability to tell players “no” in the current game. When it’s clear to me that my teammate is cleansing Haunted Ground, I need to communicate “no” to them.

    Yeah even chat txt are annoying. Idv for example where you get an ass who spams your on your own txt when you get down by the hunter as a indication that they are a troll who is there to make sure the team loses.

    What do you mean by "Bring back"? We never had it.
