Chaos Shuffle idea: random items, add-ons etc.

In all iterations of the Chaos Shuffle modifier to date, only the perks are randomised. This allows Survivors and Killers to still bring strong items, strong add-ons and even strong offerings.

One could argue that this is detrimental to the true randomness and chaotic nature of the modifier.

Which is why I propose a slight change: make all items, add-ons and offerings random too but do it in a way that it does not force people to bring any, or consume any add-ons, items or offerings they don't want to lose (like rare cakes for example).

Here is how that would work:
A) In the Chaos Shuffle queue, all your characters have an infinite amount of items, add-ons and offerings (similar to a Custom Game). But only of the things they already have in their inventories. If, for example, you don't have an Eyrie offering on Claudette, then the game won't select one out of all possible offerings when going into a match, if you opted to bring an offering.

B) The player can decide whether they want to use an item, add-ons or an offering. If they don't want to bring anything, that's perfectly fine. They will load into the match as normal, and (in the case of Survivors) can still pick up items found in chests.

C) If the player does decide to bring an item, add-ons or offering, the icon will be replaced by the well-known question mark, indicating that you don't know what item, add-ons or offering will be used. But since you have an infinite amount of them in this queue anyway, you don't have to worry about losing any.

Obviously, one major downside to this is that it's all or nothing, and you won't be able to bring a BPS or anniversary cake to stack with others. Maybe they could make it so those are exempt: you can pick a specific bloodpoint offering, no offerings, or have the game randomise the offering (and leave out all point offerings out of the pool to choose from).

Just my thoughts, thank you for your attention :).

Imo, perks, add-ons and items should be random, while only Bloodpoint offerings can be used.

The idea of making it optional and not consume anything is great.

Random addons would be fun, with some exceptions. The ones that just purposely make a killer worse shouldn't be a chance to get.

Also, they should remove No Mither from the survivor list. It's so painful to get in Chaos Shuffle.

Well, removing bad add-ons would defeat the purpose of the Chaos Shuffle imo. You can equally get a bad build with perks that don't synergise at all with each other. That's the whole point. So having that same risk with your add-ons only makes sense imo.

Nah addons change how a killer works, survivor items do not, thats not particularly fun at all when you end up with a partially gimped power with poor addon generation. Not to mention add ons that affect the counter to the killers power like xenomorph turrets.
