Phase 2 is going to be fun
When this game ends up with a 10000 in total concurrent players in July 2025, it's going to be a fun time queuing for a match. I can finally become a productive member in society. I could do my laundry, wash my dishes, touch grass, walk my dog, watch a series, cook some food, drink water, take a shower, go on a date, have kids, grow old and die peacefully.
I come back from the screen after doing all that and on the screen it shows an error "Disconnected from Host".
Yes, I'm from the future.
It's not fun. Get me out of here.

This bugs more annoying in 2v8 killer, its nothing really in normal since queues are so short on both roles. What exactly does this have to do w/ phase 2 of the health initiative tho?

Phase 2 will mark the end for dbd. Who cares.

I don't think it's going to be that bad as long it will be in line with current 3-gen, anti-camp features.
Survivors will also spawn together, which is quite a big deal and map offerings nerf will also make killers more enjoyable imo…

I tend to agree. They specifically designed the AFC to deal with that particular problem and just that, and it works.

This game has been dying for a few months. For me, at least. More often than not, I get severe lag server and toxic players and I get angry and frustrated more than I enjoy it. And I'm also very disappointed in the community as a whole. In fact, tbh, whenever I come into DbD universe I come expecting the worst, and it almost never fails, be it in the forums or the game. I've been playing less and less and I think the sane thing to do would be to let it go and just stop playing, at least for a few months, but so far I haven't been able to do it yet.
So, noone will care about this, or post bait and try to annoy me, but I just don't care anymore about DbD. I don't care about getting the tomes done, I don't care about challenges, I don't care if I am not allowed to come in the forums anymore (not that I cared much about it earlier either, from my pov)… In fact, while I think it's going to be hard (as hard as it was quitting smoking), paying attention to what I'm writing I realize that I am going to uninstall as soon as I click the 'Post Comment' button.
So wish me luck or not, ignore me, troll, do your best and your worst. I don't care. Good riddance. I kind of hope that no new player endures the things this community has to offer and I have little hope that it will one day be a good, or even decent, community, but for old times' sake, I do hope it someday will become that. That no player lets the several (increasing) downsides of this game and community get to them and make them more bitter and angry. But I don't really have much hope for that. So without further ado… Hasta la vista, compañeros. Maybe someday we'll see again in the fog.2 -

All the killers standing just out of range to do the same thing, or slugging and watching as that ends the afc mechanic..
Sadly, it's not the game at fault, but the community. They keep trying to encourage non-toxic behavior, but players on both sides actively engage in that behavior and intentionally look for unexpected interactions to make the playing environment unenjoyable for the other side.
As a killer I never understand the mentality of needing to facecamp or tunnel, or slug.. if you're reaching matches you won't win because they're better than you, then take the L and enjoy going back to an enjoyable mmr.. so many killers complain about being required to use those tactics, when they have to because they've skewed their own data by using them.
As a survivor, I don't understand bully squads, they tend to be my easier 4ks because they actively ignore the objective and only want to harass another player. Why enter a game with the only intent to make someone else miserable, regardless of which side they're on.
Everyone just needs to relax and enjoy the game without expecting a W every match

Once you hit the softcap (which isn't hard as killer), you're getting matched with teams you can't beat no matter what. You can lose tons of matches and it's not going to make a difference the way the system is designed

Me, who hasn't played DBD in months, reading the "everyone is gonna quit" threats coming from people who said "everyone is gonna quit" for the last 10 times survivors got a new feature

Ummm there's nothing about 3-gens and spawning together in the updates lol it's not behaviors fault if y'all 3 gen yourselves, get good and there's an offering for all survivors spawning together they aren't going to make that a base feature that will just make the game more survivor sided

At least we got one person with a brain lol. This game ain't going anywhere for a while. As long as they keep making content then even after they stop people will still play it. People were still playing Friday the 13th till the day the servers had shutdown and that game went what a couple years without any updates and the game beyond broken. Between f13 and DbD anyone that has played both can agree DbD has never been as broken as that game
