Question about "long-standing issues" for the QOL changes
Hey, so, you can see "and more, including bug fixes for long-standing issues", will it be during Phase 1 or Phase 2? Maybe both..? (April to December)
My nurse has been bugged for 1 year and 5 months so this is my only hope, I hope someone will be able to answer.

probably there will be bug fixes in both Phase 1 and 2 - and they cant possibly answer yet which bugs actually will be fixed as it’s not finished yet

Great question! The intention is to deliver bug fixes for long-standing issues across both of these phases. While we're not sharing specifics quite yet, continuing to push for meaningful bug fixes that the community cares about is an equally important part of "quality of life" to us.

No worries, and yes, she's been bugged since Chucky released back in 2023.
Her fov has been reduced, her first fatigue is a nasty 2.8 seconds instead of 2 seconds, she has no animation while blinking, her hitting animation isn't correct, she can look through walls.
Hens talked about it in a video, Knightlight stopped his streak because of that, Otz told me he already reported to DBD already, but it's been 1 year and 5 months so… :(

I don't think we need even more Nurse buffs under the guise of bug fixes. +0.8s of fatigue on the best killer in the game is fine.
The visual bugs should be fixed, though.

people with motion sickness cant bear the new fatigue??? any bug should be fixed

Pretty sure the FoV being lower than intended would count as a visual bug.
And "any bug should be fixed" is entirely subjective, apparently, considering that they've made bugs features in the past.

I'm not even promoting laziness, I'm promoting nerfing Nurse.
Double fatigue on a pallet stun should've never been patched on her last round of bugfixes. If a mid tier killer can get a bug that was to their detriment turned into a fully fledged mechanic then the same should be true for Nurse. She needs something to even remotely keep her in check.
An extra +0.8s of fatigue is not affecting her tier list placement at all, she's still #1 by a longshot. Buffing the best killer in the game is the last thing we need to do.

Just because she's the best killer in the game doesn't mean she shouldn't be fixed, lol. I actually think that her fatigue is 3.2 seconds instead of 2 seconds, which is worse and she gets her head back up which isn't amazing. Fixing her bugs won't buff her..? Her first fatigue is literally 2 seconds and you ask for a longer one, she's already hard to master and you're asking for a nerf, she already received a lot of nerfs and if you can't play against her then it's a skill issue from you lmfao.

They were supposed to fix her animation when grabbing a survivor out of a locker but now she has no animation while blinking, her fov got reduced which makes me want to vomit, her fatigue is awful too. "Any bug should be fixed is subjective", it isn't. 1 year ago, survivors could glitch into lockers and hold the game hostage, does that mean we should keep it cause every survivor loved it..? Not really, a bug is a bug, it's not subjective, that's why they are going to fix a lot of bugs during the QOL changes.
They fixed "hug tech" with the Blight, apparently they fixed "crouch tech", you see, even though they became "features", DBD still tried to fix them because they are bugs…0 -
I'll be honest with ya, I only want the FOV and the animation fixed, I don't mind the fatigue, it's just the FOV that bothers Nurse mains so much at the moment, if you know Knightlight (top competitive player), he did a perkless nurse winstreak and managed to get over 500 wins in a row, he stopped because the nurse's fov and animation are broken, the fatigue was still fine, so I don't mind the fatigue, but the FOV and the animation not working properly bother me a lot, still glad that you want these fixed. :)

Hey there, thank you so much for your answer, I have a lot of hope for the Nurse now, I am super excited and I can't wait for her to finally get fixed after 1 year and 5 months (hopefully), I am super glad that you have noticed my post, thank you so much for your answer, boss! <3
Once again, thank you for this answer. :)0 -
Her BROKEN animations are the most bothering thing.
Her left arm used to move up and down with player's camera while she's charging or holding a blink, and now it's fixed at the left center of your screen.
before 7.4.0 :
after 7.4.0 :
Her left hand's animation during blink used to be smooth. It goes like this:
The moment you release your blink button (M2), her left hand (or fist, if fully charged) begins to rotate.
During her blink, her left hand rotates from the palm facing up to the back facing up, with her hand opening wider.
the palm facing up:
left hand rotating:
the back of her left hand facing up:
When she arrives at the blink destination, her hand fully opens.
So the speed of playing blinking animation of her left hand depends on her blink duration (short blink → fast, long blink → slowly). No matter how long the blink duration is, these phases of animation always happen during her blink.
But after patch 7.4.0, her left hand's blinking animation plays just in one frame right after you release your M2. And for the rest of the blink duration, her left hand just keeps fully open and remains completely static. That looks very weird!
beginning to blink:
during blink:
arriving at destination:
They are all the same! It shouldn't have been like this!
Her pallet-breaking and gen-breaking animations are also broken. They used to be like this:
And in around 2021 or 2022, her pallet-breaking animation got changed for unknown reason. The new pallet-breaking animation looks more like her stunned animation. But her gen-breaking animation was still normal.
After 7.4.0, her gen-breaking animation was replaced with her new pallet-breaking animation.

I really really hope BHVR can finally fix aim dressing, because it currently steals hits from the killer.
What aim dressing currently does, is have proximity checks that are completely separate from the hit validation checks, and if a proximity check succeeds, it can yank the killer's camera and force a killer's lunge to turn into a short M1 attack….. and then the actual hit validation check can fail specifically because the game yanked the camera and forcibly changed the killer's attack.
Just to be clear, it would be perfect if the game made the hit validation check BEFORE forcibly yanking the camera and forcibly changing the killer's attack. That would allow aim dressing to still make hits look nicer, without stealing hits from the killer.

Hey, thanks for these screenshots. I am also sad that the animations are broken, I have been fighting so they can fix the nurse but it looks like we will have to wait. ;(
I managed to talk with a community manager and she sent all the info to their team, she told me that her bugs are being investigated so I have hope now. (She told me this like 1 month ago)
They had to fix the nurse’s animation being broken when grabbing a survivor out of a locker but they broke her like what the f..1
