Emotes, moris and more matching shirts
It's time. I get it costs money to animate and rig up shirts and stuff, but when I look over at what Mobile DBD had, I get so envious that a mobile game had things that we would have appreciated more.
New equippable moris along with equippable hand gestures for killers.
Emotes and dances for survivors
More matching shirts for survivors, trust me, you guys would make a killing

I agree with all but new moris. Finisher mori ready made everyone now have more of a disdain for them unlike where they was more welcomed when you actually had to bring an offering and worked for the mori.

More Moris are inevitably coming at some point. There was no positive to the Finisher Mori, all it does is encourage slugging for the 4k and makes people hate Mori animation nowadays instead of liking them (or at least tolerating them).
No dance emotes, just no. BMing is already a big issue in this game, I'd rather not have to deal with Survivors literally dancing at the exit gates or over slugs until the last second, REsistance was enough of a chore.
In fact, outside of a chat wheel (with things like "I'm going for the save!" and "don't save he's camping!") then there should be as limited communication in-game (outside of the necessary for coordination) as possible. The community already has a tendency to throw slurs and jeers post-game at people for any reasons (sub-optimal build, didn't loop well enough, didn't get a 4k etc.) it would be nice to not add fuel to this.

I don't think I'll ever understand why they did the finisher mori. It's definitely breathed a whole new form of toxicity into the game.

There's always going to be toxicity in this game though. It won't ever stop and it'll probably only ever get worse. Best to just get over it.
The chatbox should just straight up be removed. but you know, it'll probably stay so again, I'd say just get over it and lean with it

Hell yeah! It would be great to see more killers getting voice lines or even different gestures they can make!

As long as the emotes fit the game, yeah. Like using their Lobby Animations in a match for example would be PEAK!
But if survivors or even killers could do funny dances or gestures in this game, i would puke. The Lute is as far as it should go when it comes to silly emotes.

Are there any actual reasons why we haven't received all the great features that DBD mobile had? What exactly is stopping/preventing BHVR from implementing all those improvements and emotes and cosmetics etc.?

I think we lost the whole "Seriousness" of the game when they included the goofy run and Nic Cage, not to mention in mobile they have an outfit of cardboard T-rex along with dances and emotes, so I don't think they've really taken the game seriously for too long.

I'd say the only reason is because of money, or they lack the knowledge on how to implement them into the game without losing more of the stability the game has. Could be a magnitude of things. But I'd personally love to see more options for customizing my favourite characters.

Not sure why you're downvoted. DBD was dark and gloomy some time ago, and in a lot of ways it still is, but it has embraced its humorous side (and rightfully so.) Nic Cage's voice lines are hilarious

I don't want an end game chat but hey, we don't always get what we want. At least with no EGC it serves a purpose unlike having more customization options. EGC just expresses disingenuous GGs or used as a platform to throw out hate. But then again I'm from OCE and those guys are beyond toxic

Yeah, it just show cases how toxic the community is, I'd say 90% of them didn't even read what I said, they just saw Skull Merchant's face and got triggered.

I don’t know whether or not you misunderstood me. I want to select voice lines and other sounds the killer can make in an emote wheel, but without actual animations.

I would definitely love normal emotes as well, but it is probably not a good idea in this game since the community is very toxic. That’s also the reason why most people react so negative to any suggestion about emotes.

Seems like they react negatively about anything remotely to do with the game. It's a weird community. They take so much so personally and they're hyper sensitive about the dumbest things. Like ffs, they get tilted over a killer "W S Keying" them on the ground…
