Devs are uping their game! Thank you BHVR 😊

I like that devs are showing us previews of reworks instead of it just hitting the ptb so we can help make adjustments and provide feedback prior to ptb before it releases.
This saves them time and resources, it saves us time and frustration. It also helps paint the picture for a better experience for everyone so we can get a character to play that is fitting for the Dbd experience.
This will really help with reworks in general and turn the tides of past reputation. I am proud of bhvr for introducing this.
I hope to see adjustments like this down the road for Sadako with her video tapes. They are simply just not risky at all when they should be. I would love to explore options or at the very least go back to passive condemn. (We’d have to make current changes with design but I am okay with that)
It would make her a lot more fun to play as. (Coming from a sadako main. As she stands right now, she’s too rinse and repeat. It’s become dry.)
Thank you.

I am not going to name any names, but I watch several content creators that used to express so much negativity towards BHVR that it became part of their vocabulary. Those same creators no longer have that same negativity towards the company—it is adequately directed to the topic and what they think about the issue. There is an actual sense of humanity now. I have seen people’s behavior and deeply rooted beliefs be changed because of this transparency and healthy communication. I feel like we are focused on root causes and what actually drives our behavior now. This makes me very happy. I want DBD to last a long time.

I agree 💯
BHVR’S added clear and transparent communication is really helping turn the tides for the community, create less frustration and open the air up between our relationship with them, and theirs with us.
I feel this is very important and I thank them for this as well. W BHVR.0 -
Not sure the game being dictated by a loud minority is a good thing. We already know how unfun, sweaty the game is because people want it optimized rather it being fun. I feel like the devs are throwing darts and it is never hitting the bull's eye. The previews will change based on the loud minority and that is a recipe for failure.

You think it’s being dictated by a loud minority? Why do you think this?
The feedback collected and given from these new proposals were posted on The Forums, YouTube, Twitter and IG as well as TikTok.This doesn’t seem like the loud minority to me. I could be wrong.
However I do agree with you 💯 the game balance should be balanced on what is FUN, not what is strictly balanced for Competitive.

Even with all the disagreements I actually love seeing the community cooperate in discussion over the preview of the rework. We all want the same thing and hoping the early previews help BHVR make the right decisions sooner with community feedback.

Casuals aren't here. They play the game a few times and then get off. The feedback collected are mostly from people that want it optimized.

Well then, its a good thing BHVR made it loud and clear on all platforms alike so that everyone can feel included as well as our casual players.

I’m happy they finally do this. I suggested it way back in a similar form to peanuts as they announced sadako’s second rework.
They should expand it to balance changes to gather feedback in advance for killers, items, addons and perks, so they can improve their suggestions, scrap them or introduce changes that are more requested like clash Royale does it with their balance changes.
I’m kinda hoping for a Sadako design preview, but I will probably be as lucky as @GeneralV and not get back the version I liked (1.0). Unlucky me.

I'm a casual player and I'm right here, friend. I'd MUCH prefer the game to be less balanced for comp and more balanced for fun. In fact the big thing I want to see is a broader definition of wincons for each side, and a more depricated Pip/Grade system that is more about whether you stuck with playing the game than how well you did.

I agree on both points. I am the same. Very much a casual gamer.

Yes I have to agree. The devs continue to outdo themselves. It’s been so nice 😊
There’s so much feedback I need to give from past events. Like how awesome was it that the Garden of Joy house was Christmas decorated during the event? The fireplace decorations were great lol
Plus they’ve been killing it with the descriptions. It’s a very very good time to be a Dbd fan.

Nerfing a killer to the ground (chucky) doesnt count as making the game better instead they're making the game less fair and less fun!

Didn't they just recently buff him?

Thanks for the kind words!
Glad that you enjoyed the idea of the Design Preview, it's something we've wanted to do for quite some time - it's definitely going to be for the larger reworks for right now (that could change in the future), and we've been really happy with the amount of feedback we've been getting from all platforms.

I really appreciate you writing me <3 and I thank all of you (The Team) for working with us in every aspect that you can. That's why I wanted to write out a response to you all, so to hear from you means a lot!

no all they did was reverted his cooldown that he had before the nerf but they need to revert the speed as well but they keep giving chucky a bad rep!

Unfortunately it is something that can happen with every character, at any point. And once a bad change happens, sometimes you'll never see your favorite character again.
Sure, it is the reality of live service games, but no one wants to lose the characters they like.
