Something else to do at endgame
The face camping is really boring. We should bring back the anti-camp meter even when all 5 gens are done and encourage more gameplay that is fun.
But what else is the killer supposed to do? I'll tell you.
- Gate progress decays by 2% every second until the end game collapse starts.
- When end game collapse starts, and a survivor is not on a hook, the killer sees the auras of all survivors at all times, and gains 10% haste and 20% attack cooldown recovery.
- Hitting a gate switch closes that gate, or resets all progress back to zero. Yes, survivors can be locked out in this way.
- Kicking any generator slows down all gate powering progress by 50% for 30 seconds.
- If the killer has sacrificed a survivor in the basement during the trial, once all five generators have completed, they can perform a quick ritual in the magic circle to force the hatch to spawn in basement.
What are your other ideas to make the end game more engaging?

Can a trapper not just use this to hold survivors hostage, paired with autoopen traps, remember me, etc?

You know certain m1 killers cant get from gate 1 to 2 before they are opened even tho they patrol the area.

I don't think a hostage situation would occur, outside any other normal situations where a killer player being a real jerk would try to hold survivors as long as possible anyway. It would definitely be extremely advantageous for trapper, though, and would require a lot of teamwork and smart moves on the survivors' part. For instance. Disable trap, hold switch for 25 seconds, get off and be ready to disable the trap again.
That's part of the reason I wanted to give the killer haste.

Except that the trapper can threaten the what… 45s hook with remember me? More if they kick a gen nearby? And they can break it back to 0% and then reset the trap.
I don't see a way to win that outcome mathematically.

Replacing facecamping with hostage situations is not an improvement.

10% haste wont solve that. I am happy having my foe in the basement with stalk on the entire team and get a 4k. Why should i promote running around getting my legs tired when i got my survivor where i want him. Enough now with all the buffs and needs and wants from you survivor perspectives. I know u guys want 4 hatches too. You can choose to to the hook and make some tactic but most likely someone is going down but sometimes it works. You gotta do the gamble.

It's kind of weird how literally everything I had suggested is some form of buff to the killer. Something they can actively do. And the only downside was bringing the anti-face camp back. Which still doesn't really work at any significant distance at all, by the way. And you somehow think that I'm some "survivor main" that "wants 4 hatches".
Please. I argue for things on both sides.

I am perfectly content in 1 shotting everyone who tries to go for the hook and let them exhange for as long as they want until their team is decimated or they can realize the fact that this hanging body belong to me.
Or they can increase exit gate opening to 1 minute and remove the hatch so you got mindgame to do if you think its fun.2 -

That is something a perk could do.
Hitting a gate switch closes that gate, or resets all progress back to zero. Yes, survivors can be locked out in this way.
That would be funny and cool. I want that to be added.
I’m not a fan of the rest.

I feel like Shattered Hope could be a good perk to place this kind of an effect on.

The first or second effect?

The first. Being able to re-shut a gate would work better as a base-kit feature.

Imagine having 3 people camping gate and then just closing it while the last one is on hook, this would be hilarious.
I would probably put the gate regression speed on tricksters or Freddy’s endgame perk, so we wouldn’t need to equip another perk for this effect.

Perks? Maybe. But I'm of the mind to actually fix the game and improve its core gameplay, rather than trying to compensate with perks. There's ONLY so many perks you can have.
