How about we buff Better Together?
I never see the perk and honestly, Bond is technically longer range than it. (36 vs 32m)
Sure the 2nd part of its power might be pretty neat in making an informed decision, but other survivors dont know that anyway so it does not really save time. Though it might help me make a good choice when it comes to a save.
But I suggest we buff Better Together to have a better range at maybe like 64m, make it more viable.
Or maybe buff it to be Mapwide, like has recently been done with Empathic Connection.

The problem is that in dbd you don‘t want to do gens together. Doing gens together makes you do gens slower. For this perk to be worth running there needs to be a reason why you want another person to come to your gen.
My suggestion:
- When another survivor works on a gen with you, both of you see the killers aura in a 24 meter radius.
- Additionally I would make that you see other survivors aura whenever you work on a gen instead of only when the killer downs someone with a limited duration. This would make doing gens also a lot more exciting since you can watch your teammates run around.

Completely incorrect. Not only is it completing the Generator faster together, You forget to factor in things such as the Killer a general rule is that a generator more people are focused on will get picked up on after the Killer leaves it.
If the Perk does not fit your playstyle that is fine, you don't have to use it, what I am suggesting is for that playstyle, not yours.
The way the perk functions is perfectly fine, I just think it could be better.

That it isn’t for my playstile is fair, but your repair speed is slower together than when you split up, which is even shown in your tabel. (2survivors -15%…..) Doing gens together is less effective than splitting up, that’s why behavior changes the spawn rules.

Nobody should care about just a flat repair speed, when the reality of the Game that is played is much more complex than focusing on one part of it. Its more a question of who is on hand to get a gen done when the Killer comes by and maybe starts a chase.
Your buddy cant join back in if he was never there so its a pretty good strategy.

To come back to your idea. I would appreciate it becoming map wide or having a bigger radius. One side note: It should reveal the gens aura in blue to make it more oblivious which perk is involved.

You are touching on some good ideas there, for instance take Boons some have different effects and it would be good to know which boon type is so you can use them. If Shadowstep for instance has a color that indicated you should loop the killer there.

Make it map-wide and also make it show your aura while you're on it (So survivors don't confuse it with the various other perks that turn gens yellow)
Some kind of effect for completing a generator with someone would be cool too, maybe it could have an 'after-care' like effect that perma reveals the aura of anyone you've completed a generator with. Just a random idea.

What if Better Together revealed your aura while repairing the generator, and your aura lingered for a few seconds after you left the gen? That plus extending the distance means your team could see when you leave a gen, and what direction you're running in.

I would like that. How exactly would your idea work when there are multiple boons on one totem?

Well, lets say Anti-Killer Coloring takes priority. So it will be Blue unless you use the ones that hide aura or boost your speed.
I also think Exponential Boons should pulsate in white to the downed person, indicating them to come closer.

Better together should have no range limit, show an intensity aura of the gen progress (redundant with the UI but nice for setting it apart from other perks) and probably should have an extra 1% bonus for great skill checks (edit: when working with another survivor for the bonus progress)

The problem is that even if the range were mapwide it would still be a bad perk, so why bother going through the effort of buffing a perk that's still never gonna be used. If they do buff if it, it should be more than that. There's too many perks and they add new ones that are also bad too quickly for them to take teeny baby steps with buffing perks as bad better together.

…given that killer won't use gen regress, which is meta. the faster you complete a gen, the better, because once a gen is complete, nothing can regress it.
splitting up is very useful for swf in comms, because every kicked and regressing gen is quickly called out so someone can rotate and stop gen regress.
this is not the case for soloq, and better together is a perk for soloq to give out information that is available for free in swf.

Lets ignore the flaw that its relative strength will determine its use.
Humor me, How many people need to use a perk for lets say a month before its considered worth buffing for you?0 -
I'm not saying they shouldn't buff it I'm saying your suggestion isn't a strong enough buff. Consider even small numbers buffs have to essentially fight their way through corporate bureaucracy before they see the light of day in game, so even small changes take time and effort to get implemented. If they're gonna buff better together they need to buff it in a way that actually matters

It should reveal your own aura instead of generator's, too many perks on both sides are using the same yellow color for gens

I dont want to say I did this… but ill say it, I did this.
Thanks BHVR

maybe it could work like a weaker leader, like better than new does ontop of its current effects sort of like empathic connection of that sort of perk.

Congrats. I still hope it gets a little more and that they change the gens aura to blue

It would probably be better if the perk only showed YOUR aura and did not turn the generator yellow, since there are a bunch of other perks (caused by either killer OR survivor) which can just cause more confusion.
