Unbound is “fixed” now
saw in the patch notes unbound no longer works with killer powers, why not? It’s not like they were strong before. It helps out killers like Legion, Wesker, and Ghoul. And while ghoul probably doesn’t need any help, it’s still cool that they’re perks that exist that help some specific killers more than others. I remember when game afoot worked with Nemesis; and I wish this came back. Game afoot with friends til the end would be a super fun combo on Nemesis, Demo, etc. its just a shame because otherwise these perks just kinda suck, or have better alternatives. Incentives to not stack exclusively info and regression would be nice; though I guess it’s understandable since those killers that benefit the most already have a chase power.

Unbound shouldn't have been nerfed in the first place. It was very good on it's own and worked well with mostly weaker killers who struggle with stronger tiles. Now you have to pair it with Bamboozle to get the same results.
Killer meta overall has been neglected by the developers. It is boring and (arguably aside Bamboozle) it lacks universally strong chase perks, but hey, i guess Behaviour really wants every killer to run all slowdown builds.

This perk is dead again no need to run this over wesker one or bamboozle, uknown perks are all bad exept the one with oblibious thats a good one.

Slowdowns and refresdion perks got heavy nerfs like year or two ago but they are still best thing that buys you precious time, thats why everybody runs them plus some good info or endgame.

the problem is they are still used. When survivors call for nerfs they are calling for it to be useless.

- Fixed an issue where using a Killer power to vault would trigger the Unbound perk.
So what they changed was the vaulting speed boost. As I don't use Unbound, does it actually speed up the vault animation or just consume the charge when using a killer power?

Thing is at this state game cant be played without gen deffence (both regression like pain res,pop or slowdown like dead lock,grim embrace). Yes you can play it but you need solid killer with some build and addons that work togeather and make your chases and slugs fast so you buy yourself time and get survivors off the gens but good team that can loop and mostly knows how to do gens fast will still be able to do gens and rush you all you need is one longer chase and you done. Then there comes killer tactics like tunneling and slugging that are very effective and they hinder survivors more even if you had fast chases and spread hooks. One good proxy camp to slugg savior and then tunnel can win you game more than fast chases without gen deffence.

I disagree with that assessment. I don't believe at all that gen regression is required even your alternative example of proxy camping.

pretty much if you use legions frenzy to vault a window you will not get the haste from unbound
You have to ACTUALLY vault the window regularly to get the haste now

no haste doesn’t effect vault speed

Changes like this do nothing but remove uniqueness from killer builds depending on what killer you play, due to special interactions.
More of just copy and pasting the strong killer build on all your killers I guess? Idk it seems like a pointless "fix", it's not like it was broken or that these killers were just astronomically S tier with things like this.

I have seen many games against aura reding blight and still he didnt tunnel and survivors werent crazy good loopers, the outcome he lost to gens.

So there is no reason to run unbound except for adept unknown and prob a singularity/xeno build? Thats sad, the perk went back to useless again.

The only way gen defense isn't a requirement is if the survivors you go against are so bad that they can't even last like 20 seconds in a chase. It's simple math, if you go against decent survivors who know how to even remotely loop, without gen defense you WILL lose.

We basically went from good perk after the buff to "never use it again".
10% was fine, it made difference - 7% doesn't really, most of the time.
