Michonne's Grunts/Coughing
I really hope they end up changing Michonne's voice. Her voice-lines are great it's just everything elseee. She sounds like she's barking when running because of how incredibly loud and aggressive her grunts are. Her coughing when infected by plague or nemesis sound so much like clown's too. I love her so much and was excited for her release but I don't know if I can get passed the noises.

Don't you know that she secretly chainsmokes 5 packs a day? Ironic how we've had Bill in the game forever and he's nowhere near as bad.

Today you can just use an AI voice cloner. So their extra grunts and scream can sound more like the actor.

While I would agree that the Voice acting is bad, I am happy that they dont use AI for it. I would probably uninstall instantly and never come back.
However, the Voice Acting overall is pretty poor, mainly because you have the original Voice Actors from the Show for Rick and Daryl, but all the generic stuff is a random person doing it. It should have been either Andrew Lincoln/Norman Reedus or just a Voice Actor.
And if there is a clause that the actors dont need to record screams, grunts of pain etc., then they should have not hired Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln to begin with.

To add a little clarity to this, the fix we're aiming to include in the second bugfix patch is focused on adjusting the levels / volume of some of her sound effects - particularly in cases where they're louder than intended.

I meant the grunts and screams they added. They could have adjusted them to sound like the actor. Not an AI actor.
It is really cool if you got the original actors for the voicelines.
But this switch half real half different sounding is really odd :-(
Makes me really appreciate Nic Cage even more - he said if its him playing he will do ALL sounds himself.

Why can the team fix Michonne's volume of sound effects but it still takes years to fix other volume of sounds? Jeff is a very loud character while Ada and Ace are very quiet characters and Orela has basically basekit Iron Will. Why can't you make all characters the same volume, so there are no longer pay to win and pay to lose characters? At the very least, it seems like you can adjust survivor sounds.

It was always - they don´t want to (for some reason)
Audio files even can be mass auto adjusted today. If they wanted they could do it.
There have to be audio files for each char in the game. You take these in a workstation, adjust the volumes, export them, and replace them in the game files. You can not tell me you can not do this.

Michonne's vomiting is hilarious. I heard someone compare it to how Clown sounds, and it's pretty close.

I played a game against Nemmy and my sense of empathy was making me cringe for Michonne. she sounds seriously unwell. I wanna pause the trial and ask if she's ok

I also would have preferred the all-or-nothing approach, not this uncomfortable and awkward middle ground that just feels weird and off-putting. Andrew Lincoln's voice with some rando's grunting and screaming. I don't like it. Just another entry on the list of things this update botched.
