Please be honest about 2v8 end date from the start
2v8 has been extended most times. And honestly the only explanation I have for it is that it was always planned to extend it. I don't have the official numbers, but according to steam numbers the influx of players has completely died down by now and for the past 3 days there were less players than pre-2v8.
Why can you not just say "2v8 lasts until November 25th" instead of claiming to only last until 20th just to extend it no matter what? I was excited to have queues be at a normal speed again, but now because they are split they will still be slowed down.

Whilst we always have extensions in mind for any Event, we do look at the information prior to making that decision about the Event (so whilst the Event is active) - in this case a lot rested on the survey results for what players themselves wanted.

you do realise if you have one browse through the comments of the Twitter post nobody wants this mode extended now I have 5 minute killer queues for another 5 days sometimes even 6-7 minute killer queues because of a mode I don’t even play stop extending this mode for the love of god
Think about everyone in the community two weeks of split queues is enough

I think the results from the survey might be a bit biased, for example personally I didn't fill the survey because 2v8 is not a game mode I enjoy much. So I haven't been playing the game much to interact with the survey while that mode is active, and wasn't really interested in giving feedback. So I think people who love that game mode were more likely to fill it out.

would the survey being outside of 2v8 event not be biased in the opposite way then?
counterpoint: BHVR gave us full knowledge of the survey's exitance on social media.

I'm going back on dbd hiatus once 2v8 is over so no not everyone. I'm waiting to see how the new changes pan out.

Please do not listen to this guy, the forums are only a small minority, the majority of the community (which are casual players) love 2v8 because there's no perks to worry about and hope to have it become a permanent mode at some point

I think they forget half the time that have an account there. I must say I'm glad I made the switch. Comments are usually much more bearable to read though then what I remember the DBD Twitter accounts was like.
