As I feared, the Third Seal changes with the Sinister Grace chapter patch also affected it no longer triggering after Claw-Trap injuring someone as Skull Merchant…
If Claw-Trap injuries are not basic attacks and special attacks, then what are they? D:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
Simple really, equip Hex: Third Seal and Claw-Trap someone and watch it not trigger and get a stack

Pretty sure you get a stack on Third Seal once it activates on a survivor too

Ok so.. what kind of attack is it then? It's causing an injury outside of a basic attack.. but it's not a special attack? survivor is being injured, it should be a special attack, and should be proccing third seal. third seal works if you become injured from disarming a trap with Bloody Coil so why wouldn't a claw trap injury be considered a special attack?

Correct! Please let us know the results of your STBFL experiment! Claw Trap injuries, much like the Plague's Sickness, is an affect of the Killer Power and not a special attack itself.
