How should the game handle situations where third Survivor get be slugging?
It is common for Killers to leave the third Survivor in the dying state to prevent the hatch from spawning.
However, the Survivors have no choice but to accept this situation, and progressing the game from this point becomes extremely difficult.
Below are several proposed system adjustments:
- Activate an anti-slugging system once only two Survivors remain.
- Activate an anti-slugging system if slugging continues for a certain period after the number of Survivors has dropped to two.
- If slugging continues for a certain period after only two Survivors remain:
- Survivors may choose to give up.
- The hatch will spawn.
- Increase the generator repair speed for the active Survivor.
- Disable the appearance of crows on the active Survivor.

None of the proposed changes addresses the core issue that is Hatch.
Killers slug for the 4K in this situation, because otherwise they risk losing their 4K to hatch.

hatch should spawn at 2 so if 1 escapes the doors are now powered.

Hatch is already in a killers favor, due to higher move speed and maybe a mobility power, what more do you need?

It does not matter if the hatch appears right next to the other survivor. The entire mechanic is luck based.

The Killer wants a 4K, while the Survivors want to go next.
If so, how about allowing the third remaining Survivor to give up, as suggested in Option 3?
This would let the Survivors move on to the next trial, and the Killer could eliminate the remaining players to achieve a 4K.
Wouldn’t this be a win–win situation?0 -

You can't be serious. The game isn't easy enough for you yet that you need this? If anything, the hatch should go away - why should the last person have an extra way out when theyve clearly lost? They put hatch in to stop survivor whining - you should be thankful theyve even done that.

why should the killer be able to guarantee themselves a 4k? It goes both ways.

so if i bring an offering to spawn hatch at the shack, killer downs 3rd survivor, hooks them…during this time i have already made my way to the shack waiting for hatch…. how is that in favour of the killer? even if the killer knows where the hatch is going to spawn, if they are on the other side of the map, hooking the 3rd survivor, hatch will spawn before the killer can get to shack. Then there is a key, even if the killer find the hatch and closes it, a survivor with a key can still escape via hatch. There is no chance the hatch is in killers favour, i know this from the amount of times i have escaped via hatch myself and the amount of times as killer the last survivor escapes 2 seconds after 3rd gets sacrificed.

I think option 3 would be the best, hatch play needs to still be a thing and gives option to team mate to give up for you allowing you to get hatch, slugging when there are just 2 people left is basically denying part of the gameplay or play the hiding game the whole slug timer (which is unfair to the slugged person)
And everyone saying "oh but it denies my 4k" just remember the MMR system excludes hatch escapes. so a 3k and 4k are both a win at that point.0
