Absolutely wild to be posting a personal attaboy and cash grab like this while the game and the community are in the state that they're in on the heels of a completely failed and abandoned nearly year long 'health initiative'.

So, they just should forget the 10th anniversary of their game entirely?
I will say though, the Collector's Edition including a "replica flashlight" makes me facepalm, and 9000 shards? Really? That's like maybe $7.50.0 -
No but doing it literally the day after does make it seem like a cheap distraction tactic
Like "hey halloween is leaving but look!!! merch!!!! anniversary!!!".
Not that I completely believe that's the case, but… It could be.

the game itself and IP section of DBD, at least in my eyes, two separate products. that's the only thing that can explain the disjointed perspectives. that's really no fault to them, BHVR is a business that aims to grow every year. that's part of the reason as to why mathieu is on the front-lines hosting events right now and focusing specifically on that.

The price! My god!
I've been hoping for an art book though. Maybe I'll grab that on its separate release. I only just recently bought from their site for the first time and wasn't thrilled. Paid a crazy amount for a print just for it to have a white spot in the middle. I'm willing to give it another shot though.

Im honestly praying that nobody buys this but people will to resell or because they buy skins even if the game is in a decaying mess.
Also, why isnt this announced with anni?, this is such a wierd time to announce this. "Halloween is leaving but check out the anni set for 250 bucks", seriously, who is this for?.
Are the dbd fans such cash cows?. I barely spend 50 bucks on this game with sales.

for the 10th anniversary the should just do a circle of maps over the years all the way from beta that would be fun

Dwight and Trapper make the most sense but Sable is where the money is.

Huntress is one of the OGs so still okay, aesthetically she's probably the better choice. Trapper at least is on the cover of the art book. But yeah, Sable was a head scratcher lol I feel like these sets would sell regardless

That book on the art and lore is definitely a buy for me if it releases for around 40$ separately. The statue looks cool, but the rest are smaller Kickstarteresque knickknaks that I don't think adds an addition 200$ of value after the art book justifies itself.

Remove the 9000 shards and add exclusive cosmetics instead, for this price you should get something more ingame imho :)
