Rework the 3 Gen Prevention feature to use %of progression instead of kicks.
The current 3 Gen Prevention feature activates after 8 kicks which just seems like a fast and arbitrary solution instead of actually giving it some though. The Problem is that 8 regression events can be vastly different depending on what perks the Killer is running. It does nothing against Hex: Ruin, while being a massive advantage against Eruption. An improvement could be that the feature activates after a generator regressed a certain percentage of progression, before being blocked by the entity from further regression. I was thinking about 100% of progression.
What does everyone think of it?

I mean, the thing is that the feature triggers faster if a Killer is 3-Genning from the start of the game, which is what should be avoided. Because they will kick Gens more often and therefore triggering Eruption more often, if the Gens are close together. And Surge will hit them more often. While Gens which are further away from each other will not be hit that often by those Perks. Sure, it does nothing against Ruin, but this is not really a problem, since Ruin is a Hex and will be cleansed eventually.
I feel that this is intended design, because your solution would mean that 3-Genning is back on the menu, since it will most likely not be possible to do the same 3 Gens twice, if the Killer is just hovering between those from the start.
IMO the feature is good as it is.

Ruin can be cleansed to get rid of the regression so I assume that's why they decided to go with kicks and not %

I think it's a joke to have implemented kick prevention in the first place. Survivors already a brain dead role! Having you not have to consider a strategy such as not dead zoning an area or confining the remaining gens to one side of a map was ridiculous. I suggest every dbd player be forced to beat level 10 on Nintendo tetris and learn that strategy is good.

The issue is that Killers 3-genning from the start is a problem. Because this can happen without any Survivor-Input. It does not matter what happens to the Gens which are not in the 3-Gen, because at some point at least one of those needs to be done. And it does not matter if the Survivors do the other 4 Gens, 99 all of them or dont do them at all. If there would be no limit, Killers who decide to only protect Gens and never go on chases would do that without any issues.
And well, Killers also got buffs to compensate for it. The removal of Gentapping and the increase to Regression of the initial kick to 5% really made more than up for the limit of 8 Regression Events/Gen.

This is stupid because there is no way to see gen percentage and thus no way to know if you're close to triggering it.
