Absolutely Horrid and Unacceptable Pallets on New Map
I've gone through 10 different iterations of the new map in a custom game to make sure I wasn't getting terrible RNG. Can someone on the dev team explain why 95% of pallet loops on this map are looping around a cardboard box or a 1 meter long traffic barricade? The main building pallet is absolutely unforgivable.
The map looks like a 10/10, but the gameplay is a solid 0/10 after playing it for a few hours.
Please fix this.

Well there's also shack + 3 potential god pallet spawns. In terms of sheer pallet count it's on the higher side along with strong windows.

You cannot be serious saying higher side of pallet count when all of them but three are awful.
3 -
"All of them but 3" there's good pallets on the map. Just because it isn't some god rock doesn't mean they arent good.

Please post screenshots of all these good pallets on the map that any killer B tier and above can be reliably looped on that aren't the 3 god pallets you're referring to.

So because you don't know how the map is supposed to be played, it's a pre-run shift W oriented map whether intentional or not. You pre-drop these with distance and that makes a really good looping spot off of shear distance alone.
Dropping this early give you distance to the window later in the match and if the killer decides to break…. it wastes more time. This is actually a pretty decent pallet.
Another pretty decent pallet
Strong pallet
Any bit of distance here lets you loop back into the convenience store which also has a stong window
No need to say anything here just a strong pallet in general
Needs an actual bit of distance but can lead to that window
There's a pallet spawn at the white car here thats really strong when pre-dropped as it creates one big loop around the left and even to the god pallet farther in the back around those lockers.

There is no way you just posted a picture with two traffic barrels on the short side as a good pallet.

So out of EVERYTHING to pick from you picked that one and it's not even the correct comment I made about it. I said it was pretty DECENT as in a decent time waster which is all that matters in the grand scheme of DBD.

It's because you proved them right so they have to nitpick SOMETHING.

Not really. Most of these pallets are played to their best extent from pre-run shift W and pre-drop. Might not be the most interactive way to play them but you can't deny what they're best at. People just got so used to filler pallets being super safe and it has shown over the years.

I get that, but that not my point. My point being is that those pallets in your screenshots are fine. They really are. They are not weak by any means. To say that they are would just be a straight up denial which is what we are seeing from Value.

I'm fine with map having weak pallets. There are many of them and 90 % of them are bad, but at least it won't be another god pallet city map. This map will be about holding w through buildings. I can see it being pretty boring though.

The fact this post has 6 downvotes and only 3 upvotes is a bit telling of these forums if you ask me, considering you did exactly what someone requested you to do. Guess some survivor (or killer) mains don't like it when an opposing side has actual valid arguments.

I mainly play survivor I agree with you there are plenty of good pallets on the new map
That long brick wall one I saw and I was like 😍 (not shown in your screenshot but pallet can spawn at end of the brick wall last pic near car)-2 -
The amount of Pallets is not that relevant, if they are bad. We had this with Hawkins in the past, which featured a huge amount of Pallets which were all (except for very few) countered by just walking around it. Looks like it will be roughly the same for this map.
When it comes to Windows, there are barely any Windows. Which overall is bad design IMO, maps should not just feature a ton of Pallets and barely any Windows.
That being said, I think the map will be unpopular for both sides. People like it because it looks good, but from the limited testing I did I would not say that it will feature enjoyable gameplay. It is a glorified indoor map and I think some Killers will perform good on it while others will perform poorly on it. And since it is basically an Indoor Map, Survivors will also not really enjoy it.
(Obviously it is an Outdoor Map, but how the map is structured, it feels and plays more like an Indoor Map)

I would not even compare this map to Hawkins cuz at least the pallets on hawkins are meant to be dropped early so you can chain them together, with this map, none of the pallets are chainable, they are just garbage and 0/100, they are not even 50/50.
People are just blind at the moment because it's a new map and it's gorgeous, but when the beauty factor goes away, people are going to realize this map is terrible.
It's not fun for the killer since it's a fake indoor map, killers that rely on their powers are going to suffer, and survivors don't have many options to loop since all pallets on that map are 0/100, okay, not every pallet on that map is as bad as I'm saying, I would say 80% of the map has unsafe pallets with the value of 0/100, and this map doesn't have many windows.
Trickster is not good on his own map due to the fact he is 4.4 now, and oooohhhhh boy, 4.4 killers on that map are going to be miserable to play, there is a section on the market place where you can loop 4.4 killers infinitely, this remids me of the car pillars on old gas heaven, where you would have the survivor right next to you but due to a giant wall you had to go around the structure to catch them, miserable expirience.
Just as I said earlier, people still are blind to the problems of the map due to the fact is new map, its goegeous, but… once that thought goes away, people are going to realise this is a bad map.
OBS: I forgot to mention this earlier, but this map doesn't have a single balanced landing spot btw.

Good, this map is pretty big already, if it still had many safe pallets it could be even more horrible for no mobility killers that already is.

- I agree with everything, even the "windows" thing. Plus, there's no jump/fall point, so perks like Balance Landing and All-Shaking Thunder are useless

Well this map was made during the time of pallet density complains. I‘m pretty sure these didn‘t influence the map design process. Aside from that I‘ll try the map on live before saying anything.

Potential vs Reality is where you're losing me.
Talking about these pallets as if the survivor will always be in the most favorable outcome is dishonest imo.
If the killer is bad, sure even the worst of these will be playable, but what about if they're good? None of the top-tiers are fazed by any of these pallets at all, and I would say they are more 70/30 than 50/50 aside from the standard long/short ones.
Personally I still think its fine from a survivor pov because due to the map's size and layout, good macro should still lead to a win, but that doesn't make these loops good unless there was already a massive skill-gap.
Particularly the first pallet in the club, such a thing would only be acceptable if the one by the bar counter behind it was a static spawn, but they share the same spawn logic, which is pitiful for a main building.

Potential can be a reality with a lot of killers (and more often then not is). Run when you get a hint of a terror radius and pre dropping them makes them decent to really good. Against top tiers… well of course they're not gonna do much. What's even a god pallet gonna do against a Ghoul, Krasue or Dracula with power up? 2 of them just vault over it while the other can either hit through it or break it with wolf form (or with bat form if you guess correctly). Top tiers simply just don't care about the amount of or strength of pallets as much UNLESS there's pallets literal walking distance from each other.
As for the main building. I don't mind it given the maps size and layout. You can legit just sit across the stage and circle around that middle area for a while even against 115 and that's all that killer's pressure in the corner of the map. It's the eyrie syndrome but a little worse. You can see the killer/survivor the entire time but no one can do anything but run it correctly in most cases.-1 -
As a killer player I’ll take the huge map for pallets survivors actually have to loop and use their brain
