Is dbd really dying
I mean its a good game but I am losing interest and getting disappointed in every chapter or reworkd
Take Myers for eg They made him so op and so boring that survivors just dc seeing him and I dont even like playing as him old Myers it was fun you had to look around this new one is just blight with a insta down knife
And now Jason dude gives positive vibes as a killer his animations are goofy and his skin is basically a clown from a comedy movie like they keep ruining characters

Possibly, but more likely is that you're getting burnt out. You're free to leave at any time, and I'd even recommend actively skipping an event if you feel like you're susceptible to FoMO

It's not that it just feels boring old dbd used to be so fun we could stack perks and its not like stacking perks was broken everything had a counter killer powers were fun for the killer and for the survivors aswell. Nowadays every match starts feeling the same boring people using overpowered add - ons or killers like myers or even anything else Wraith is so annoying he has a guranteed hit if he uncloaks no matter what

Talking about fun here

A lot of people confuse their getting sick of/burnt out on the game for it "dying".
It's not dying. People get sick of it and leave, others come in, nothing really changes.
Its day will come, but that day isn't today,

Not according to the player count, which is the only thing that matters

Dead by Daylight will not die until it gets a proper competitor and Halloween does not count since their gameplay is very different

we can all see that we need dbd 2 if this game is ever going to flourish but it seems "life support" is the plan.
idk if it's a licence thing or what. or maybe the code has too much spaghetti

Dying? No. Becoming less fun? Somewhat.

Dead by Daylight will not die until it gets a proper competitor
Which means it'll never happen, and even if some fabled competitor of similar nature as DBD arrived with supposedly better gameplay and licenses already stacked up, chances are both games will co-exist instead of DBD outright dying.

If it's no longer fun for you then I'd advise finding a different game that gives you enjoyment

Statistically the game is not dying. I do however believe that you are just suffering from burnout and that is okay, even I take breaks from this game from time to time.

DBD has way more people than I can remember. The match making is so fast it's literal seconds, now sometimes killer takes a little due to the ratio however being able to play survivor while waiting makes up for it. I remember the days of waiting for a lobby with a 4 man stack and playing Zelda on my switch talking with the crew while waiting lmao. It's come a long way and happy to see all of the different content. I do recommend playing other games as well, just playing DBD can get exhausting, it's my go to chill game.

forum goers have been telling me that the game is dying since I started playing with the original Stranger Things chapter release

DBD has been dying for ten years straight, and will continue to die for many more.
In other words: it's not going anywhere!1 -
I've gotten completely burned out myself with this game. Feels unbelievably stale, balance changes are very few and far in between of any and some changes are so bad they don't need a PTB to forsee how it'll impact the game, the devs takes years to make any real changes, they give out blood points like its minimum wage when the game getting even more bloated and there's just no feeling of progress anymore. There's no rank system or visible MMR so why even bother with a MMR system?
Taking a long extended break of the game but still watching if there's any real positive changes and that community made chapter the only thing that's left i have any real interest in. I don't care for Jason.
