Did i screw up the game?
Ok so…i was playing survivor with my friend and we were on the Decimated Borgo map, playing against a Artist. My friend kept getting tunneled by the killer and i had to keep coming in to take hits for him. at one point during the collapse, we were running to a gate thats 99, and i ran behind my friend who is one death hook and got swarmed for him so he could be safer. He runs towards edge map and runs towards the other gate, not wanting to be near us. I take off for the opposite edge hoping to draw the Artist away from him as i look and see this Leon stand at the 99 gate and open it, sadly i get injured then try to run to the open gate as my friend is opening the other one, as im running this Vee tries to help me by dropping a random flashbang that i cant hear, i get blinded, and downed and hooked. Blood Warden activates, we all die, and my friend yelled at me. was i in the wrong?

I often have to die so my duo can escape lol i think its just your friend taking it too seriously.
The game can turn around in the blink of an eye over 1 perk or offering etc. I was just playing a round as chucky and managed to kill 3 and the 4th jumped off the hook, ran straight into the shackand dropped the pallet, and i had half a second to remember the hatch is about to spawn which i backed away from the pallet and went to the hatch side for them so somehow beat me to it by a hair. (As they brought the offering for it to be there)

I will admit i was upset at Leon, but was dumbfounded i was getting blamed, The Artist was a really good player P34. My friend is on PC and was arguing with them in chat from what he told me. But yeah Leon kinda got us killed

Tell your friend that its literally just a game that you're meant to have fun on and don't take it seriously and in the future you'll have better experiences

The Leon should have waited until someone was hooked or everyone was safe if you weren't already aware of what perks were in play. If you can't identify all the killers perks during the match then it's best to assume end game and prepare accordingly.
Idk how many hours your friend has but they might want to get used to other people getting them killed, friends or otherwise.

He has 4K Hours, way more then i do at around 500. Leon opened the gate as i was getting picked up too. Though its apparently my fault because i was hooked
Not to mention he was tbagging this Artist the entire game and being toxic, and he got stuck at a gate when BW activated
