Which gen rush builds are people running after 10.2.0?

I went through a lot of recent Gen Rush videos and tallied which loadouts kept coming up, then checked each perk against the wiki. Three builds stood out, so I wanted to hear what other people are seeing in matches since 10.2.0 went live.

Build 1: Boon: Steadfast, Overzealous, Flow State, Boon: Illumination

Most of the videos used the Steadfast and Overzealous pairing. Both turn on from blessing a totem, so they stack on the same generators. At tier III that is +10% repair speed from each, and Steadfast also gives 50% slower regression within 24 metres of the boon.

10.2.0 buffed the supporting perks. Flow State went from 8/9/10% to 13/14/15% per token (blessing, healing, unhooking, not repair speed). Boon: Illumination now blesses 150/175/200% faster, which makes re-blessing after the killer snuffs your totem much less costly.

Build 2: Boon: Steadfast, Overzealous, Prove Thyself, Resilience

Same core with flat repair speed in the last two slots. Prove Thyself is +10% per other survivor within 4 metres (max +30%) at tier III. Resilience went from 3/6/9% to 7/8/9% while injured. This seems better with a group that stacks on gens and weaker in solo queue.

Build 3: Hyperfocus, Stake Out, Resilience, Built to Last

The solo skill check build. Stake Out was reworked in 10.2.0: it no longer turns Good skill checks into Great ones and now runs on tokens earned within 24 metres of the killer. Many of the videos were recorded before the patch, so I am not sure this build behaves the way those videos show.

Gen times for reference (90 charges per generator, tier III Prove Thyself on everyone repairing)

2 survivors: 52.9 seconds default, 48.1 seconds with Prove Thyself

3 survivors: 42.9 seconds default, 35.7 seconds with Prove Thyself

4 survivors: 40.9 seconds default, 31.5 seconds with Prove Thyself

Full write-up with the sources for every perk value is here if you want to check my numbers:

Curious what you are running. Has anyone tested Stake Out + Hyperfocus since the rework?

Builds like this are more Meme Builds than anything else. Sure, the numbers might look decent, but this implies that the Killer is not doing much. And obviously Gens get done fast if the Killer is bad. I would also look more at actual streams and not videos, since videos can be highly selective. You might see two games where the build worked, but you will not see the 50 games it took to get those 2 games.

For example, IMO everything with Prove Thyself is already worse, since repairing Gens together is almost always worse than repairing them alone. Sure, when it comes to the last Gen, it really shines, but any Gen before that is better repaired individually.

Overzealous and Steadfast are pure Noobtraps. You do something which in the end takes longer than the time saved on a Gen. EVENTUALLY you have more benefit than cost when using those Perks (even tho I am not sure about Steadfast here, since there need to be some Gens really close to each other), but this requires you to repair a lot of Gens on your own.

And well, as a side note: I would not really count Resilience as buffed. Sure, it was technically buffed, but because it only applies to the lower Tiers, it is irrelevant. You rarely see people with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Perks.

Gen rush builds are so funny to me. People ask for engaging, fun gameplay and then make a build dedicated around sitting still in one spot and watching a bar go up. How riveting.

Anyway, that third build with Stake Out and Hyperfocus does not work anymore. Stake Out now gives you special skill checks. The difference with regular skill checks is that the former gives you a much smaller zone, similar to Decisive Strike, or Oppression, or Overcharge, etc. There is no "good" or "great" part in it, just one skill check and that's it. Being a special skill check, it does not synergize with Hyperfocus after the recent patch.

Bardic Inspiration, Hyperfocus, De Ja Vu and Scavenger with Commodious Toolbox.

These builds are too naked though, if you get chased you have no anti tunnel or anti slug etc.

I guess the best build would be smth like Deja Scavenger Resurgence and SB.. i like scavenger a lot since you can reload your toolbox by simply repairing gens and hitting greats (without hyperfocus)

Toolboxes are the central core of a genrush build, and I'd also argue the first two listed here don't really count as genrush since you're delaying gen completion by setting up your boons + Overzealous.
They're not bad builds, mind you, I use variations on Overzealous and boons as a synergy a lot myself, but you're not rushing completion of the generators if you're intentionally doing something else first.

Genrush builds have changed recently though, since Stake Out doesn't support a toolbox build anymore and neither does Streetwise from a while back.
It's still a Commodious + charge addons + Built To Last as the basic core, though, that hasn't changed, and it basically won't change until toolboxes do.

I think all of those genrush builds are practically memes. Especially if one plays SoloQ.

Deja Vu is the best gen perk there is. It shows you the 3gen you need to break and gives you a 6% bonus for working on those gens. When you only have 1 gen left to complete you are guaranteed to get that bonus. It's more important to have a good gen spread after the first 3 gens are done otherwise it's too convenient for the killer to defend them.

I often run Deja Vu + Commodious Toolbox with both charge addons. Early in matches I prioritize the most central gen in relation to the map of the gen auras I see. Bond, Five Moves Ahead & Lithe usually fill out the build but that's just me, almost always playing in SoloQ.

Scavenger and road life together have amazing potential I'd say, I've been loving the two paired with a mix of perks

Genuinely all you need to gen rush is built to last and a commodious with a wire spool and socket swivel. You're saving 19.5 seconds on two gens put another way you're doing the gen roughly 22% faster which is far better than stacking gen speed perks can give you.
