That's why anything from Discord or Reddit should be disregarded anyway, human or AI.
Another problem with AI is that posts that are sarcastic, or are written by those that are shall we say - two sandwiches short of a picnic - will often be taken at face value.

Man every time I pop back on the forum I'm just dreading this closure more and more. So many games have killed their forums over the last few years. Halo, WoT, gears of war etc.
It's just a super ######### trend. Companies putting down their best portal for feedback from the most dedicated fans.

I look forward to complaining about the closure of the official forum in every feedback poll they do from now on. @ForTheEntity put it best,
"Too cheap to maintain even a cheap forum."
BHVR just decided to destroy a long standing part of their community, along with a bunch of history, as well as a place where amazing feedback and discussions happen daily. Utterly unforgivable to me.

Emails were sent on Thursday at 5pm - a lot of emails have bounced back due to issues with the email address (commas instead of full stops etc), however that's less than 200 emails that returned, out of 277k sent. So by now you should all have received your email and invite to the Server. Please check spam / junk folders if you are yet to receive your email, thank you!

I didn't get the e-mail either. Weird, because I usually get promotional e-mails sent to the same e-mail address (like the recent Haunted by Daylight newsletter).
Oh well, I was only going to join up to satisfy my curiosity anyway. Discord isn't for me.

Hi! I have not received an email in either spam or my main inbox. I am already in the discord, but if the badge we get is tied to this email, I would really like to have it.
Is there anyway this will go out again or people like me can get help? My email doesn't have commas at all and I have no issues getting email updates from here or the newsletter so idk why it wouldn't work now.

I don't use Reddit, X, or Discord. In my opinion, those platforms aren't very good. I prefer forums because they allow for more organized discussions and make it easier to find information. If your decision is to stop paying for the servers, that's your choice and I understand it. However, I think it's the wrong decision for people who still enjoy visiting and participating in these forums.

It's really upsetting to see the discord one of the only official channels to discuss stuff. Is the moderation going to improve? Constantly I see hateful bigoted language and just incessant fighting and bickering with incredibly cruel and rude personal attacks

Are you ACTUALLY going to moderate properly on these forums then? because currently the moderation is piss poor.
I've been perma banned on Reddit and Steam for being "disrespectful" despite never actually having been disrespectful. Both platforms are seemingly run by incompetent or power tripping moderators.
Anything that isn't straight up glazing BHVR and DBD gets removed and the accounts eventually perma banned for being "disrespectful" since thats their go to reasoning when removing or banning anyone.
Can't say anything about the Discord one since I never actually used that platform since after my past experiences of apparently being "disrespectful" on reddit and steam, that I'll just end up getting perma'd within a month for the same thing.7 -
As usual the community does what the mods cannot. Didn't receive my email from bhvr nothing in my main mail or my junk folder. Where did it go? 🤔 Thankfully community posts mean I have been able to get in touch claim my piss poor consolation prize for spending time on the forums.
Man this is such a ######### show. Bhvr is really showing us how little they care about their player base's opinions and feelings.

I have not received an invitation. Nothing in the Spam Folder as well. But instead I did find my first Email from the forum.
Although we've never met, warm regards to one of the voices of reason @Aven_Fallen ,
who always made sound arguments, despite often having to argue against groups
that were louder than was conducive to a constructive discussion.And Orion, not sure if you were following the development of DBD, but we got that Anticamp you were so fiercly fighting with that sentence "Already tried and abused by the survivors". gg!
And I close with a golden classic line: we do not discuss bans here!

We have a private discord group of almost 100 forum users and only 2 there have gotten the email. I think its very unlikely that we randomly got half of the rejected mails together here.
And the 2 that actually got them were also… lets say ‘surprised’ that they actually got them in the first place

Just saw this today. Crazy to think the forums are going away. It was the place I came to get info even after I stopped playing. I enjoyed reading some of the comments and conversations. Also liked coming here to read the patch notes discussions. End of an era.

As weird as it will be to close this tab soon, the forums going away and my dislike of the game's direction over the last several months have finally helped me break my dbd addiction. It's wonderful to not care at all about this game right now, so thanks for that BHVR, and thanks for not sending me that email. I'm happy to disappear into the fog.

I wonder if this place'll stay up until someone shuts it down during business hours on Monday. You'd think it's be programmed and automated, but you can never take anything for granted with BHVR.
