A Way to Tell Hexes Apart (For Killer)
Sometimes I use multiple hexes in a match, but I find myself a bit frustrated at not being able to tell which Hex totem is which.
For example, when running Ruin with Haunted Ground, I generally want to protect Ruin and let HG be destroyed freely. But since I don't know which is which, I have to hope I guess correctly on which totem to defend, since I'm generally unable to protect both (or don't want to).
It would be a nice QoL change to differentiate hexes (only from the killer's perspective, of course).

This would be a nice change to be honestly in my opinion.

They could even use the same tech they use for moris for this, where the mori icon pops up when in front of a survivor, but just the hex's icon when standing in front of the totem. Seems like a pretty reasonable QoL change.

This is a good idea. I approve

This would literally destroy any game for survivors in low ranks against multi-hex killers. You would just camp ruin and that’s it.
Edit: accidentally posted before I finished writing lol.
What I meant was although you can already camp/patrol your hexes you don’t have the privilege of knowing what you are protecting. The only downside of Haunted Ground, for example, would be removed.

If a killer wants to camp ruin I will camp gens lol

Yea of course lmao that’s why I said lower ranks! They exist too you know? XD
I always take into consideration all tiers of play when I discuss buffs/nerfs/changes

Maybe if they had the perk icon above the totem's aura, that would be a nice change.
While it may seem like a significant change at lower ranks, keep in mind that survivors don't have to go and destroy totems. It just makes completing the survivor objective harder. They're not insurmountable. With Ruin, just working through it is key. With Huntress Lullaby, just work through it. Devour Hope? He doesn't get stacks by guarding the totem.
Ultimately, it makes killers more able to make desicions, but they still rely on survivor mistakes to catch them. So it's a relatively minor, QOL change. Nothing more.

Sometimes a gen gives 12-15 skillchecks. You can’t repair that with ruin on if you don’t hit the white skillchecks.

If you hit good skill checks only, that won't notify the killer, and you can still power through. My advice is to not repair while it's sparking, since no progress gets done, and it increases skill check chance.
