Alternate Wiggle/Struggle control options for console.

I can say in all honesty, dbd has destroyed my controller, and I’m not the only one.

Yeah, all controllers wear and tear with time, but Dbd greatly accelerates that process.

I’m not saying replace the default, just to simply add the option to to have an alternate way to wiggle and struggle.

For example on PS4, instead of abusing your joystick, have the option to repeatedly tap L1 and R1. For struggling, simply require the player to HOLD (X) instead of button mashing, like a dead mans switch. Give a bloodpoint reduction for struggling if need be since the points you get seem to rely on how much you’ve tapped in tota

Ive already had to remap my struggle button to square because my X button is hardly responsive anymore and would often die from it not registering that I tapped it. And as for the analog, my characters often now move without me even touching the controller, and I have to move it a certain way to get it to stop. I play dbd more than any other game, so I know it’s large reason why my controller is warped. I usually only play dbd and Overwatch, so dbd is lit the only game I use the X button on outside of menus.

Also, yes, I’m getting a new controller soon. But this will be the third controller I purchase simply cause of dbd.

Wait it uses joystick instead of triggers? That is insane; why? You shouldn't even have to be suggesting this, it should have been an obvious oopsie on day one.

I guess none of these devs ever played Mario Party 2 on N64 lol.

Yeah, you wiggle using the left analog stick on PS4 and Xbox. Dunno how it works on Switch. Some quickly circle it around, others bash the stick left, right, up, and down. Still not sure which method works better. But either way, it DEFINITELY takes a toll on the stick. One friend of mine had his break off completely. It’s kinda ridiculous.

Right now I have to go to the pause menu while being healed, otherwise my Feng will move on her own and interrupt the heal.
