The DC penalty is improperly thoughtout

I am all for DC penalties against the crybabies who DC on first down, but do you realize that they will just let themselves die on first hook instead? The only people who are going to be getting bans are people DCing for a legitimate reason.

The other day a Nurse got stuck in a rock and she couldn't teleport out. So I guess someone like that gets a ban. Oh, by the way, if you game decides to crash on the loading screen, guess what? DC ban. What if my teammate decides to body block me against a corner I just completed a totem against. Whelp, guess I either sit here or face a temporary ban.

Please disable this feature until it can be properly implemented without punishing innocent players.

As much as I hate how unfair the penalties are for people who crashed, got stuck, etc- It is a really short period of time unless you've done it before. The first ban is 1 minute, the second 5- I think a person can go off with a one minute timeout.

HOWEVER; If I have to go somewhere and I'm being slugged- Yeah, no. I don't want to lose my points, de-pip, and get a timeout.

Why do you care about the timeout if you have somewhere to go? Why are you playing a game of DbD, a game with extremely variable match times, if you're planning on leaving soon?

I don't care about the timeout unless I have crashed before and an hour long penalty is waiting. I care about my points, and not deranking. I've tried hard to get to rank 1 ever since I started taking my matches more seriously. I'm not the one suddenly yelling for me to get my pills, set my clothes or play with my animals. If I had control of this, no, I wouldn't start a match, but that's not how it goes.
