What about 2 minutes on hook regardless of hook actions?
Like title says. If I get saved 10 seconds on hook I would still have 50 seconds until second stage.
It may deter camping but I guess increase tunneling.
Killers would get opportunity for more hook actions and points. And survivors may be more altruistic.

This literally incentivizes and promotes camping - How else is the killer going to ensure that a survivor hangs the full 120s, especially at the start of the game (where camping can be a fun killer) when there are 3 people able to rotate out doing saves, each with 120s of guaranteed hook time until death?
It would also make the game straight-up unwinnable for killers @_@
Wowee Zowee

This math doesn't add up
2 minutes= 120 seconds
10+50=60= 1 minute
Did I mis-read the post?

He means still 60 seconds per stage. So first hook would require a full 60, then second hook would require another full 60 to kill you.
As stated, it would guarantee a 4 man escape every time.

Yes..then you would go to second stage

But would also increase hook rush and altruism providing killers chance to snowball as well.
No more waiting until last second to save.

Like title says. If I get saved 10 seconds on hook I would still have 50 seconds until second stage.
Specifically:
"I would still have 50 seconds until second stage"
The key word is "until
second stage
", so OP knows each hook state is 60 seconds, for a total of 120 seconds for the survivor to be saved. 😁🤗0 -
No

so,people would save instantly and it'd be like survivors having 10-20 hook stages lmao?

But would decrease the supposed "gen rush"

No.

Absolutely Not.

Well yeah because there wouldn't be a need considering the killer would be incredibly weak.
0 -
Lmao you could get hooked like 60 times

I think I would remove regardless of hook actions cause if you don't struggle for stage 2 or you attempt on stage 1 that should still impact. But this is definitely has anti tunneling potential cause as a survivor that is annoying no matter how nice it can be as killer to remove someone faster it's still a cheap way to play. It would make that harder potentially. The people who say it would weaken killer too much I don't agree since it changes almost nothing if you aren't camping or tunneling

This would not deter camping if survivors being hooked is based on a timer rather than hook count. This would increase toxic mindsets and make it extremely difficult for a killer to ever get a 4k let alone 2 kills.
120 seconds x 4 = 8 minutes
80 seconds/gen x 5 = 6.5-7 minutes
3 gens can be 75% completed during a survivors 1st stage.
How do you propose that’s fair?

This would make careless unhooks the new meta.

Bassicly you want to increase the number of hooks each survivor has unless the killer decides to camp?
I'm sorry but this is a horrible idea
That's a total of 8 minutes of hooktime
Generators can be done in 3-4 minutes
This would be like suggesting to double the amount of generators that need to be completed to fix genrushing

So infinite kobe attempts?
Personally, I'm against removing choice from the game.

Riiight. And what do the killers benefit from this? Oh, getting screwed even harder... No thanks.

Its not a great idea.
Hook time and chase times go hand in hand. The reason camping isn't always viable is due to the possibility of gens being done as theyvarent applying pressure. With this idea you lose that pressure as there is no reason to play safe for survivors as each hook is just a removal of a set time and not a stage.
Even if you won a chase in 30s if someone unhooks with BT (cant see anyone not running this perk) you lose all momentum. One person with BT even wlif it was 30s to down means a possible 8 to10 hooks easily that's 240 to 300s of chase time along with the time to pick up and hook. That's 4 to 5mins just for one kill at the very best.
This really gives the killer no reason to leave the hook at all and stay as close as possible to try and negate it. It then means gens get done easier as after the first down and hook you do them and wait for stage 2. Then just save over and over wasting time for the last 2 with chases.
It's would be highly in favour for survivors with and really bad for this game.
Imagine at end game needing to hook someone 4 times or more after each chase. That's them guaranteed out the door even without DS or BT.

This also majorly promotes slugging and letting you die on the floor

Same. I'd just slug everyone and hook everyone and go make a sandwich or something.

Reading all the rebuttals to this idea...

This would indirectly buff Monstrous Shrine, which is already the most powerful perk in the game.

Someone runs in with BT at the second they're hooked. That hook basically didnt exist and now they're both leaving. oof

I cold get behind this if and only if 3 hooks still killed you right away. This would deter camping then, since you have longer hook time but still same number of hooks to kill.
