Any good anti-gen perks besides ruin?
I need a perk that doesn't get crushed the first 30 seconds of the match.

Try use Surge (Demogorgon) with thrilling tremors (Ghostface). Check this: surge activates when you down survivor and regresses all gens in 32m around you by 8%. When you pick up survivor thrilling tremors are activate and block all gens, which aren't being repaired for 16 secs. This gives broken gens additional 4% damage and free info about gens, which are being repaired, since, as I said, they not gonna be blocked. Combine this with pop goes the weasel (Clown), so you can go and kick that gen. Lastly, put in this build surveillance (Pig), cause its stacks with pop and surge.
Specially effective on killers with mobility, who can travel through map quicker.
And make me a favor: if you play with this build and see me as surv, please, dodge the lobby, lol.

Try this, Pop Goes the Weasel, Ruin/Corrupt Intervention, Surveillance, and Discordance.
- Pop Goes the Weasel [The Clowns Perk] (Considered to be one of the strongest anti-genrush perks due to the 25% flat regression it gives to any generators you kick after you previously downed and hooked a Survivor.)
- Hex: Ruin [The Hags Perk] (At Red Ranks this perk sometimes gets ignored, so that's why I also suggested either that or Corrupt Intervention, since Corrupt Intervention isn't a Hex perk and lasts for a solid 120 seconds at Tier lll. But, Ruin is still a solid perk at Red Ranks still AND it's especially good at lower ranks like Purple and Green.)
- Surveillance [The Pigs Perk] (Another solid perk when paired with Pop Goes the Weasel. This perk keeps track of any generators you kicked, and once kicked, the aura the generator will give off is turned to white! This indicates that the generator is still regressing and nobody has touched it, if it all of a sudden turns yellow than this means someone touched the generator or is working on it... also making it a solid tracking perk.)
- Discordance [The Legions Perk] (This perk alerts you to any gen-rushing that's happening in the map. How does it do this? Well Discordance turns a generators aura yellow when 2 or more Survivors are working on that same generator, so this lets you know that the generator is being "rushed" or worked on a lot. Keep in mind that it doesn't alert you to solo generators being worked on by 1 person.)
- Corrupt Intervention [The Plagues Perk] (This is the alternative to Ruin if you don't like gambling on a Hex perk. This perk turns 3 generators that're the farthest from your spawn inactive, meaning they're blocked by The Entity and cannot be touched until 80/100/120 seconds have passed, the higher the Tier, the longer it lasts!)
This should be a solid selection of perks to use to stop "gen rushing." You can also try swapping some out for perks like Brutal Strength or Overcharge to see if you like those more, I don't really recommend Overcharge, but Brutal Strength is imo a better alternative for Surveillances slot.
Also, if you want a Killer that works well with already stopping generator progress... than try someone like Plague or Freddy, Freddy works with this build BUT Plague has a better build with her powers.
Her build is Ruin/Corrupt, Dying Light, Thanatophobia, and BBQ.
I won't go into a big summary like above, but Plague keeps every Survivor in the injured state because of the fear of her Super Vomit... so, that's where Dying Light and Thanatophobia comes in. Thanatophobia gives a 4% reduction to Healing, Repair, and Sabotage speeds for every Survivor that's in the injured state. So, if everyone Survivor is constantly hurt for the entire match, that's a 16% reduction to repair speed... now add Dying Light to that and each time a non-obsession Survivor is hooked, you gain a token that gives a 3% penalty to Repair, Healing, and Sabotage speeds...
Dying Light can stack up to 8 tokens, giving the Plague another 24% reduction to everyones Repair speed... this means a full stack of Dying Light AND Thanatophobia gives a 40% reduction to Healing, Repair, and Sabotage speeds!!!
But that's just me, hope this helps!

Try this combo; Thana, Dying Light, Sloppy Butcher.
Yes it's a 3 perk combo, and yes you won't have much in early game pressure, but the mid to late game pressure is IMMENSE. Basically once you start injuring survivors and getting hooks, they start in a downward spiral of constantly trying to heal. At 3 stacks of DL healing stops being an option and you will pretty much have 4 stacks of Thana at all times. After 5 stacks of DL the game just stops for survivors. Let's do some math!
Sloppy is 20% debuff to healing.
Thana is 4% debuff to healing and repairing for each injured survivor.
Dying Light is 3% debuff to healing and repairing for each hook on non-obsession. Obsession is immune to this.
At 5 stacks of Dying Light and 4 stacks of Thana healing time is 16/((1-0.2)*(1-0.16)*(1-0.15)) = 28s. Self Care which normally takes 32s is now 56s. Obsession is immune to Dying Light and gets a 33% buff so the formula is 16/((1-0.2)*(1-0.16)*(1+0.33)) = 17.9s (Self Care is 35.8s).
For gens the formula is 80/((1-0.16)*(1-0.15)) = 112s. For the obsession the repair time is 95.2s.
So you can see that both healing and repairing will take AGES for all non-obsessions, while the obsession has a slight decrease in heal time but a big decrease in gen time.
What usually ends up happening is that the obsession, knowing they have a heal buff, will go out of their way to heal. At first this may work to their advantage but over time they just end up wasting time healing everyone and not doing gens. A smart obsession would ignore any altruistic stuff and just focus on gens before you can get enough stacks to keep everyone permanently injured.
This combo snowballs so hard it is REALLY hard for survivors to recover. The only viable counter play is as I mentioned, have the obsession rush gens from the start of the game. But this rarely happens and even when it does there comes a point where it'd just be impossible for 1 person to rush all the gens.
And yes if they have medkits or toolboxes they have more counter play options, but in every game I've played with this combo it doesn't matter. Eventually those things run out and they just get sucked into this vacuum of debuffs from which there is no return.
The only catch is you need to be careful when you chase/hook the obsession. Usually I will take 1 hook then slug them if I catch them again. If you kill them you lose DL and that's most of your pressure. So be careful about hooking the obsession, and sometimes it might be better to ignore a chase on them if you need DL stacks.

Pop Goes The Weasel is arguably the strongest anti-genrush perk in the game.

Corrupt intervention (plague) blocks 3 gens for 1-2 mins at the start of the match. Im not saying its good, but its there.

Don't worry I gotcha, thanks for the tip!

You need a quick start for this to work tho. Or 3 gen strategy. I mean, it doesn't stop survs from repairing 3 different gens at the beginning, while you chasing 4-th surv.

I've been using surge and ruin on Legion. Surge has put in some good work especially if you can deep wound everyone, go to one person, down them. If they're moving away from a good number of gens, I don't even bother. Reason for surge is that way I can get an idea of which gens were being worked on and where I can go to check. Corrupt intervention is also very useful if you want to block 3 gens off the start for a good minute or two. One shot killers, you could possibly use surge for M1 downs and then thrilling tremors (or if you have a good mobility killer). However, on Freddy I only use pop and not ruin. The build I use is Pop, BBQ, Brutal strength and STBFL.

That depends on how good the Survivor you're chasing is, if their team KNOWS to actually work on gens while they're being chased, and the Killer you're using in said chase with the 4th Survivor.
A lot of variables depend on how fast a team can finish generators.

That’s actually incredible because I just started using Plague! Thank you!

Ruin 2.0 😫

Maybe if they didn't have it as a Hex perk, it'd be better. But no, still a totem.. *sigh*

Pressure all gens and survivors at the same time. Duh. No need for crutch perks. Just win every chase in 10 seconds.
