well you've outdone yourselves, I didnt think doctor could get any worse but somehow you figured out away.
Yes I know this is just the PTB but if we dont give feedback during it they will release these changes. The biggest problem I have with the doctor "rework" is the 3 second wait to hit someone after you shock them.
I dont understand why this was implemented , instead of making us switch stances you gave us a 3 second wait period after using out ability. This doesnt help the doctor in chase's at all.(what he was really hurting on)
Also the change to the iri addon was unnecessary, any survivor with half a brain will be able to hit a reverse skill check. it's an iridescent addon meaning its ultra rare so in theory it should be Powerful.

Yeah the 3 second wait is kinda silly... And the range still sucks. I like the idea behind his static blast though.

I mean, doctor has never been good. Now he's just less good. Still slightly better than clown and about average with every other killer except 3 or 4.

Disagree, doc was better than clown before this PTB now doc has the potential to be the worse killer in the game, he can't anti loop anymore all he has is a 60 second tracker, meanwhile clown can actually anti loop with bottles.

The 3 second cooldown really makes the ability unfun to use.. and in the light that they reworked him so he is more fun to play as, they failed miserably, sadly :( I'm not having fun on PTB right now (played 4 games now)

That's good. Now you got a real challenge ahead of you, actually getting good as a killer instead of relying on just the top tier. Sounds like you want an easy 4K to me, learn to work and sweat like there's no tomorrow for it you entitled killer main.

lmao yeah because being a wraith main for the past 4 weeks is me using a top tier killer. also why is it frowned upon for killers to use strong killers but not for survivors to use strong as hell perks??

For one I don't hate the forums at all I just don't visit them often:) Also let me remind you survivors said similer things before. And yes you can express your opinions but when it' starts getting out of hand that is when to stop complaining about changes.

Good job the thing we all have an issue with, the 3 second delay, is going to be changed, as confirmed by not_queen.
He's less clunky and doesn't have a perma-slowdown...definitely now better than legion tbh. We'll see how it goes once both sides have had plenty of interaction with the new version, including add-ons and new perk builds that we'll likely see.

What is the time it takes to shock someone in treatment, switch stances, then go for a hit?

You'll be happy to know that we already are looking to change the 3 second cooldown cause we know this is not working (Edit: in it's current form). The final change isn't yet approved so I cannot tell you what it is but when we have a confirmation, we'll communicate about it.

Good - now how about proper research on why Ruin is used on such a huge scale before nerfing that so quickly? I don't mean that to be aggressive, and I know low-key you can't agree with me (job security! we get it), but deep down even you have to question the amount of research that went into the ruin nerf.

That is actually faster. The moment you let your shock out you change stances and go for the swing. It's faster and you can lunge and everything else. The 3 seconds just punishes the doctor

amd worst crap is that after you shock someone they still have like 0.5 sec to vault or drop pallet so if surv is near it he ll just vault or drop and leave :D

Good. Because right now, it basically is just used to shock somebody in a loop, take the extended time where you both can't do diddley to go stand with them at the pallet there and hope they walk too far past it so you can block them from reaching it.
You stare deep into each others' eyes, share a long loving glance that seems to last a lifetime, take a moment to daydream about what your children together will end up looking like, and then get slammed upside the head with a pallet while they head to the next loop and prepare for your next hot rendezvous.
His shock time in particular is absolutely horrid and downright impotent in his current PTB form.

That's good to know. If the doctor times the shock perfectly but can't hit survivors before they can drop pallets or vault stuff, it's simply useless.

Please just get rid off the cool down, it's completely unnecessary and makes him worse against loops. Also the shock has a delay, so survivors can outrun the shock field. That needs fixing as well.

the biggest problem with current doc is that pause. its a bit long. For reference the old switching stance was 1 second according to wiki. it was pretty fast. The shock therapy delay is throwing off my muscle memory completely and I still feel like you lack base range to use shock therapy in most cases.

They could at least get rid of the Hex status and make it a regular perk.

I'm gonna be honest here, I know the idea wasn't to downright buff him, but there was plenty of room to make him stronger in chases.
I know that it's not the main intention of his power but no killer is good vs good survivors without a power that helps in chases. His shock could be better than it was before without making him overbearing for absolute sure. @Peanits @not_Queen
EDIT I also think his shock should register instantly. There seems to be a delay after it hit when survivors can still do anything. Idk if that`s intentional but it feels sluggish and unresponsive. If possible something should be done about that imo
