I liked old Freddy better too. Even if he is way better now, I had a lot more fun playing him before the rework, he just felt very unique and interesting.

I can't stand huntress and clown because of the insta-down addons. Randoms usually dc or kill themselves on hook against these too, making it even harder to get a decent game against them.

I personally try using weird perk combinations when I'm trying to have fun as survivor. Stuff like lithe + dance with me or ace in the hole + plunderer's instinct which, while not being that effective, sometimes result in new interesting experiences.

I have played him a couple times, but that's it. I find his power to be pretty annoying since most of the time I'm bumping into stuff accidentally, but that might just be me being bad. You gotta think about the newer players, even if it's easy for you, someone who hasn't played the game too much might find it quite challenging.
