I was discussing the game. Criticizing the Devs stance on a topic is against the rules. Saying that will probably get me another warning because that's are apparently how forums work now.
-
Pointing out the lunacy got me jailed. So much for these forums being a place to discuss the game. Wait and see what happens when you label everything as offensive and remove it.
-
That is what you encourage when you rip parts of the game out because someone somewhere linked it to racism.
-
Blight is offensive to the drug addict community. NERF HIM AT ONCE Yours sincerely Bad Survivors
-
That's how mob mentality works.
-
People will do that because they'll know that it works. You could have one thing you want nerfed, say it's offensive and it'll get changed (probably to favour bad survivors)
-
That is so racist! How could you!
-
Can we nerf dead hard yet?
-
I understand if you are all closet racists but when it comes to harmful stereotypes then I think you should put that to one side.
-
Despite what you all think. Using stereotypes in games to portray a character is harmful. There should be no if's or buts about it.
-
You said that you're British and it doesn't offend you. It can not offend you and still be harmful btw.
-
So you're saying that nothing can be harmful if you choose to disagree with it. Stereotyping and discrimination is harmful.
-
I think most people's problem with spirit is the fact that they can't be bothered trying to learn how to counter her.
-
What is the point of the PTB If no changes to the killer are made?
-
I played as Trickster twice. One time I won easily, the other there was 2 escaped through hatch with key Even when I winning I wanted to DC and I never do. He's so rough and he's slow. Will probably never play Trickster again unless drastic changes are made especially to his power which is completely pointless to use.
-
People get obsessed with tiering killers up on lists and pulling the excuse "you have to expect killers other than top tier" to give reason for killers who shouldn't exist in the pathetic state they're in to exist. I'll probably buy the new chapter but I will only play the killer about 2 or 3 times if drastic changes are…
-
He's called the Trickster because he tricked you into buying him. Even if you think you can't even buy him yet, he's made it so you will end up doing so on release day.
-
People get obsessed with placing killers at certain tier levels. The main question is Why would I choose this killer over anyone else? The answer to that is that I wouldn't if I wanted to kill/hook players. I don't care too much about winning games are meant for fun. What will be frustrating is loading into a game takes…
-
I completely agree. As soon as he spawns on the map, the survivors might has well charge upto him and put themselves onto the hook.
-
Definitely some kind of magician cosmetic and him imitating another survivors clothes would be funny. As in default survivor skins but he wears them.
-
Not directing this criticism at you but it got old long ago how people would describe gay people or whoever as feminine. A lot of burley gays exist and people who think there's a certain set of criteria to pass as LGBT are just ignorant morons in my opinion.
-
Are you assuming the new killers sexuality based on their appearance? Omg how dare you. The killer is K-pop themed. I don't think K-pop is included in LGBT whatever it is.
-
@Satelit hmm, well I'll have to somewhat agree then.
-
Speculation is exactly that. The leaksbydaylight website explored the possibility but never ever confirmed anything at all. Putting trust in something that leaks were actually for is an error on the individual person's part. It wasn't for clicks, it was just engaging with supporters.
-
There are lots of evil people but talking about them in these forums probably isn't the best idea.
-
Good point, I can just imagine Xi Jing ping (Chinese President/leader) saying "if you dare add a LGBT character then I'm uninstalling" sounds like a joke but cultural differences probably do play quite a large part. Exactly why only the US and Europe branches of international businesses only take part in promoting equality…
-
It doesn't plan for failure in my opinion. It just gives you another option other than running gen defence perks.
-
I was referring to his attitude suggesting that straight white people run everything and everyone else deserves immediate better treatment to make up for it therefore a LGBT addition would be good. I find it quite ignorant and condescending and I hope I've misread how he's acting.
-
Completely different story here in the UK. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm not a fan of labels at all maybe I vented a little.
-
"Gay torture camps" are a little off topic. Plus they're not the only kinda torture camps but that's besides the point. Stop making this a "straight white men run everything" rant because that's exactly the type of attitude which I'm trying to discourage. In many places straight white men have been run out in place of…
-
I'm mainly talking about people who identify themselves as LGBT on social media a lot of them especially low profile content creators keep bashing "cis white straight men" and harassing anyone who calls them out. If these people are indirectly encouraged to do so, it's just gonna spiral badly. I've literally seen threads…
-
You underestimate the damage twitter can do. It's also where dbd does a lot of its stuff with the community.
-
Saying that the game has different departments focussing on different areas to me is not a valid excuse for certain things to be neglected and some things to be ahead of schedule. It's like playing Dark Souls for the first time but the department in charge of making the weapons is 2 months behind schedule so they're not in…
-
I'm not talking about you when it comes to insulting labels like "homophobe" it's mostly regarding social media like Twitter. If outrage determines the Devs actions in any capacity then I'll will be like "I saw this coming, why didn't they anticipate this?" Petty arguments come from every direction. People will make unfair…
-
One thing that has been a problem for years which would be way more inclusive is the struggle button feature. People who struggle to spam the struggle button still to this day can't enjoy the game as much as others. Even without a disability it's such a tedious action to do. The colour blind settings took way too long and…
-
You pretending no-one has ever criticized the Devs is ridiculous. To me it seems to be your excuse for not wanting to accept someone else's opinion. Literally every suggestion I make there's 5x more people who take issue with it. Don't act like they sit and wait for the LGBT topic to crop up before disagreeing with glee.…
-
The difference is that people with concerns don't know if the new character will just have a page of lore or whether the Devs will make it really extravagant. I think people are fearful of the latter primarily because of the fact that the Devs are kinda unpredictable and are prone to making bad decisions every now and…
-
Dismissing these as "not real concerns" just alienates the people who disagree though. There's two sides of the fence and being on either side shouldn't make your view less valid. A lot of fuss can be removed if it there was some reassurance that the Devs acknowledge the issues that crop up rather than painting people with…
-
the entire orchestra from the Dark Souls /Bloodborne games as a killer.
-
To me it is one of those topical subjects people seem to want to latch onto for attention. I don't care about the lore at all but there are people who do. The difference is that the main thing that needs to function properly is the game running smoothly everything else can be as botched as possible. I would say the game…

St Patrick's - Leprechaun with evil stare and blood stains splattered across its green clothing. A beer glass bubbling and slightly overflowing over the edges. A four leaf clover fidget spinner (players will be like "oh no, is that a fidget spinner" but they'll appreciate the better charms more because of this) Chinese New…
-
Because it looks like a p**is with arms to some people...it kinda does actually. Probably very sensitive to boops but idk.
-
Clocktower, Alien or Terminator. Playing as Sarah Connor from T2 feels so dbd and the terminator chasing you would be a refreshing addition to variety. Before anyone says it doesn't fit like they say with every suggestion other than man with knife/axe. You must have been completely mind-blown about 10 times already with…
-
I've been saying this since Huntress. It's far easier to aim on pc than it is on console. The main thing for me is the movement and camera dependency some recent killers have. I feel like having a reticle add on for ranged killers would be a quick fix, maybe that's coming in the Huntress add on relook. I can guarantee the…
-
For however much potential the twins have, it's ruined by the amount of bugs and slow down between controlling the two characters. Pretty much everytime I use Victor by a pallet or window he either gets stuck in the ground or he is body blocked into place because Charlotte is right by him. Bugs aside I think the twins need…
-
This post is bias towards the Devs. Probably, I didn't read anything but the title.
-
Players like you deserve to be banned permanently if you're going to disconnect whenever you identity which killer it is you're playing against. As you said, sorry not sorry you deserve to pay for ruining other people's matches.
-
One which only a couple of people have mentioned is "PLAINJANE" which unequips what ever clothing you have set on Jane. Don't worry she returns to her default outfit.
-
I mean everytime they improve console performance it messes the game up some other way. I don't think the mega optimization patch will fix everything and some major issues with still persist after that.
-
A killer who specifically has a 3rd person camera and maybe a projectile like a spear would be a really nice change with no real benefit given to the killer role. If you change huntress or death slinger to 3rd person then you'd get players peeking around corners already knowing the location of the survivor which is where…
