At this point the game has become a caricature of bad game design. Like if you wanted to describe a joke asymmetric game where you had a 1v4 game but gave the 4 every advantage, you couldn't do better than dbd.
-
Yeah I mean the answer is obvious, the devs cater to survivors. They identified broken loops and rather than fixing them, they gave the killer sometimes the option to remove them after already running them and giving the survivor a chance to escape. There is no reason that any identified breakable wall shouldn't just be…

Nothing will make this game scary until you balance the killer into the power role. What's scary about a killer you can loop through 5 safe loops into the first hit into 5 more loops into the DH into 5 more loops into all the gens being done? The game will never be scary as long as the survivors are the power role.
-
"Survivor Hope" = second chance. Failed to do the gens? Well we'll give you another escape option. Now with EGC, failed to get to the second chance escape too? Well we'll enable two more chances for you.
-
Looks like all of my games tonight. Really ruins the fun for killers, but we know BHVR isn't really concerned about that.
-
Devs prefer survivors and will give them as many second chances as they can. Welcome to BHVR.
-
lol. BHVR can only hope to be on Blizzard's level some day. Bad maps, bad balance, bad matchmaking, bad graphics, full of bugs that don't get addressed, but AT LEAST they aren't disabling heroes for a week to keep the meta from getting stale.
-
This is the saddest, truest statement. "You did m1 hatchet, instead of hatchet m1, that's why you lost 3 gens" the game turned on a 1s cooldown difference? Sad that this is the balance.
-
It feels that way because devs don't know how to do matchmaking. Or balance killers so they are fun. Nurse isn't worth the effort, just let her die like the devs wanted.
-
In other games they are not frequent, and can be potentially played around. You can avoid McCree's flash bang maybe, and it only happens if you are in melee range of McCree. Imagine if you were McCree and every time you fired a shot you had a mechanic called "muzzle recoil" that self-stunned you for 5 seconds. Who would…

killer shack pallet has infinite safety, because survivors always deserve god pallets. Generally I would assume the pallet safety is a metric the game uses when randomly generating which pallets get placed where, so that not literally every pallet is a safe pallet. Of course there is always a god pallet in shack and the…

Mostly to keep the killers believing they are still listening so they keep playing in hopes for game balance.
-
The overall is because she is not fun. Stuns are not fun for killers. I don't know why the devs can't figure this out, but stuns are not fun. Nobody has fun getting stunned. Nurse gets stunned every time she uses her power. She is not fun to play, so she is not played.
-
If it is something they didn't intent to be there and plan to remove, then it is an exploit. They just don't consider exploits that hurt the killer's experience as a priority.
-
A slug is a slug. A slugged husk has the same agency as a slugged survivor. Killers can already slug the 3rd and try to hunt the 4th before the bleedout finishes or camp the hatch for that time. Adding in husks doesn't suddenly make this tactic possible, it's already a common case when the killer wants to try for a 4k.
-
It is the same interaction as with a survivor. If the 3rd survivor hadn't dc'd and got slugged so the killer go for the 4k then the game would proceed the same. There is no hostage situation; if the killer didn't want to search for the eternity of the 4 minute bleedout timer, he can hook the 3rd survivor (or husk) and…
-
The survivor team failed to do the gens, why does the last person deserve to escape? Are they that insecure about losing a few extra points from the hatch escape? I think Peanits has said in several threads re: the hatch that it was put in to prevent the last survivor from taking the game hostage and immersing for 20…
-
As has been mentioned in every other thread, killers aren't leaving over ruin by itself. Ruin was just the last straw. They "ruined" a perk most people used to address a more fundamental problem (map design) without addressing the problem. Their entire announcement was all about the the survivor's experience, nothing about…

I was previously, but no way i would now. Boring AF. Killer requires you to sweat like no other, survivor you just coast through.
-
Yeah you get over that once you learn there is always a pallet loop within 2m of your location, or if you do get hit, a god loop you can run to. Then the game stops being a horror movie and becomes a Benny Hill sketch.
