First killer game I even remember the date - 31st October 2017. Wraith, instantly fell in love with the game. Got a 4K, and still had no idea what I was doing. First survivor game was the same night, with friends. I escaped through the hatch, back then you had to 2 gens for the hatch to spawn, we just about did 2 (we were…

I play on Xbox, have been playing since October 2017, played around 600 hours. I am a very casual gamer, and once I didn’t even log into DBD for about 6 months. Devotion Level 2, currently Level 58 on the way do Devotion 3. Again, I also played way before devotion was even a thing.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Doc’s (well current Doctor) iridescent king add on. Makes him nice to play as, especially at high rank. Last night I used it at R1, had to work very hard for my pip but if I didn’t use it I wouldn’t have pipped. Objectively, away from my Doc tinted glasses, probably Turft of Hair or…

I’m staying because I’m a stubborn person, who for some reason sticks with this game and these devs. I stuck with them throughout 1.9.2 - 1.9.4 (for anyone who doesn’t know early- mid 2018 game was basically broken) as a killer main and will wait to see what these changes bring, and what they do in the future.

This thread ended in July, but not long after the long screams actually did come back, on both sides I think. Now in February 2019 you can sometimes still hear the old hook screams, on killer side only though.

Never liked it in beta, called it back then that it'd flop, and it has. I don't Like seeing games fail, but I must admit I did enjoy seeing the steam charts being so low. Rip DG, never even started IMO.
-
I'd like it if the devs made killers who weren't add on dependent. I think she's meh. Below Clown/Billy/Nurse/Hag/Huntress but above Myers/Doctor. Mid tier. I have some buffs I'd love to see implemented, 1) 115% movement speed. 2) Can see blood during phase. 3) Reduce the phase walk cool down. Then IMO she'd be high up.

Yes, I have as a matter of fact played a lot of Huntress and Nurse on controller, and I find it better. It is my opinion, and I know lots disagree, but it's just my personal preference. > @Master said:

I turn off the ability for anyone who isn't my friend to message me, to reduce the salt. Then I play all killers, like Tru3Ta1ent suggests, and it works. You become better players, and win with worse killers. It's relaxing. Good luck out there! > @BlazeModz said:

I hope it does. The developers seem to have forgotten the Decisive Strike change as well, which is frustrating to see. I got falsely optimistic for hatch changes and DS changes, but it will be months before it happens now.
-
I hope the developers find a way of re-using them, for BP compensation or in a new event. I lost my progress during the event, and got blood points refunded, so I have like 150 invites on every character!
-
To be fair, SWF are team mates, but in this situation it's more, as you say survivors, all for themselves etc.
-
My own personal preference, playing across both Xbox and PC is that controller is actually better, in my opinion. However I do see how people enjoy M/KB more.
-
I was hoping they would reveal more, but it's not long until we find out. However I thought the "Play with the Devs" event got dry towards the end. Although it was quite interesting.
-
It was a cool event, however I really hope we find a use for the offerings of red envelopes and BBQ invitations now the event is over. Especially as during this event, my progress got lost, and I had to level up everyone again. It's all good now, but my clown has 150 BBQ invites!
-
To be honest, I found the survivor chops easier to get, but still got the cocktail machines. I am very casual, and thought 90 was a bit steep, but hey, got a load of BP! :)

Is map design something you will be working on to help balance the loops in some maps?
-
Yes, for the PTB, the killer will be free to play and use. As soon as it hits the live game, you'll need to pay/buy with shards.
-
If that PTB goes live, DBD will become more alive. - there, corrected the thread title for you!

Kill me

I use Borrowed Time, Sprint Burst, Self Care and Empathy. BT guarantees Benevolent points so it's a staple for all my survivors now. I have DS, have used it before but I didn't really need it. More of a killer main so I understand the frustrations of it. Sometimes use Urban, if I want to be immersed.

Definitely Mr Bing Bong Boi. There's something satisfying about hooking a survivor then cloaking- makes me feel like a boss. :)
