Out of curiosity, I tested the area myself using The Huntress, The Onryō and The Good Guy. The Huntress was fat-shamed. (The Onryō had identical results) The Good Guy/ made it through, however!

Set an in-game timer perhaps? Should a player disconnect, only track it for penalising if the player queues up for another game/relaunches Dead By Daylight within the time frame.
