  • I had a game where a Dracula kept 1 person slugged continuously until they bled out from the timer. Every time someone tried to pick them up he would just knock them down again, he would sit and avoid the healing survivor and only hit the slug. We fixed all the gens but he still managed to kill her doing this when we got…
  • I think a simpler version that actually could be implemented and avoid any problems, would be that every character gets their 3 teachable perks as base-kit, and can pick an additional 4 perks. This solves the problem of exhaustion perks overriding each other, and means detrimental perks like No Mither would just be limited…
  • Tofu's video single-handedly killed any enjoyment I would get out of knight. It is so easy to abuse how stupid the guards are. The bug where you can hear Knight's footsteps while drawing a path means survivors pre run before you even spawn them, so map of the realm is once again a must have addon to prevent this.
  • The cooldown is only 10 seconds, basically none at all. After that Dredge is the fastest killer in the game at traversing the map. I assumed you wanted to have a civil conversation or discussion about this, but sure go ahead and laugh.
  • You say that Nurse, Hillbilly and Blight don't get to have corrupt intervention because they can traverse the map in seconds. I do not like this, because it is a slippery slope that would call into question on why certain killers are restricted and others are not. I assume you posted those 3 killers because of their…
  • I mostly agree with you on the sentiment that he has overall weaker powers than killers with one focused power. But lets make sure we are being fair. Hellfire does have a couple advantages over POTG, even though I do agreee that POTG is a better power overall. Mainly that you are able to strafe A and D with it rather than…
  • Don't forget that some tiles mean that Deathslinger shots will result in no injury beyond Deep Wounds. If it is a safe pallet and they pre-dropped you aren't getting the down immediately, unlike every other ranged killer.
  • What I want to know is why does looking down allow the wolf to do this. Blight had this exact same thing as well, heck even Leatherfaces hitbox changes while looking down slightly (or it least he did). What is it about the killer's FOV facing down that causes hitboxes to change?
  • Just in case you didn't know, zombies can hear you fixing gens within 8 metres. If you lure it out of LOS, but immediately hop on the gen, it will just come back. Gotta lead it further than 8 metres.
  • If you are the first person being chased or you are on death hook, you should try to be a lot more liberal with your use of pallets. Don't immediately throw them down, that is not what I am saying. But the first chase is when the killer has the least pressure, and denying their first hook is so important. Likewise, if you…
  • Mage hand is one of the best designed killer powers in a while. Using it doesn't automatically give Vecna a hit, and survivors that learn to face it can make Vecna's use of Mage Hand go in their favour. The main counter play is to not be greedy with pallets and to throw them down 1 loop earlier, so that Vecna isn't…
  • Personally I am not certain if the Bat is strong enough to warrant survivors being invisible. You still need to shift to another form to attack, and survivors can vault back if you try following them through windows. If it was purely a way to avoid survivors holding W from you, that would already be a strong power.
  • I would say that the it is much harder to react to Hellfire than POTD, and the fact you can AD strafe with Hellfire makes it a lot easier to line up shots. The Tank Controls on POTG are thematic, but it makes it much harder to aim on the fly.
  • Suffocation Pit is a big one. If you get the one that generates the window in the middle rather than at the end where the basement spawns, it is pretty much an infinite. Even when they throw the pallet if you do not have high movespeed the survivor can loop that window till entity blocker a majority of the time. Infinites…
  • Really? That was the best thing about wiggling. Unless you were trying to spin them at a 90mph or something, you just had to turn it in a slow, consistent circle. 1 or maybe 2 full rotations a second. It always blew my mind that people were apparently breaking their controllers over this.
  • This is the funniest thing I have read in a long time.
  • It should be pointed out that dressing in drag is not always the same as identifying as a different gender. I know someone who likes to dress in drag but they still identify as a gay man, not a trans woman.
  • I wanted to link my New Zealand Playstation account because Sony won't let me buy anything from the store if I use my original account from Australia. But when I went to try linking the account on PC (Never signing into Playstation at this point) I didn't get an option to link my steam account, it automatically linked to…
  • Deathslinger with his slow movespeed and height is easy to see coming and hide from. But don't you dare suggest using stealth as survivor; everyone knows that stealth is bad and means you suck at the game. I mostly jest, but playing against Deathslinger means you have to path differently. Yes there are some tiles where he…
  • Man I am not even past my mid 20s, but are attention spans really getting this low in my generation? Just look at your phone, check your DMs. Stand up, do a quick stretch and sit down. Maybe go get water or something. 10 seconds is no time at all.
  • Nemesis at the end of the day is just a physical monster. Even at his strongest, his monstrous form is not threat to the entity. The same can't be said for the likes of Vecna, who came to the entity's realm willingly and is mainly playing along. I wouldn't put it past him to figure out a way to remove the limiter if he…
  • Twins honestly deserves to get more updates, I love twins but I admit they are kind of miserable to play against. Skull Merchant though, why on earth are the devs treating her like their golden child that gets attention nearly every second patch all the time? Is she really that popular amongst killers that they think it is…
  • Not everyone is active on social media. I don't have a twitter account or facebook account, so I usually get updates on the game straight from steam. It actually takes me a while to find patchnotes anywhere if they didn't mention them on steam.
  • As a relatively experienced survivor who mostly plays solo, I have lost much of my interest in playing 2v8. It's just miserable as a solo survivor.
  • Because it means you could get grouped with another player faster and find a lobby quicker. I have noticed my queue times take ages when searching as Huntress. Because Huntress is really popular, so a lot of people pick her. That means all those huntress players will never be grouped together to start a match, even though…
  • I've found the best way to deal with nurse is to have a scout constantly follow them so that every survivor starts running well before she gets in range. Even as a solo, once I started doing this I noticed my teammates stopped getting hit as she teleports onto a gen. It is not perfect, but most nurses if they don't see…
  • Don't worry, clearly they died of old age waiting for a match. Part of me wishes that you could pick a killer after finding a partner, since for example you will never find a Wraith partner if you are playing Wraith yourself etc.
  • How are killers finding the time to try and camp anyone, there are so many survivors I don't even keep track of who I'm chasing. If the want quick downs they just need to hug their killer partner and 2v1 them in chases, although they will probably not stop gens fast enough doing this.
  • Solo survivor is quite miserable most of the time because of all the new players. Not to mention it seems a meta of Huntress Nurse has settled in because those 2 killers destroy new players the most. I literally had a nurse slug and almost never cage someone. There should be some sort of recovery bonus for survivors to…
  • I had a streamer complain that me and my other huntress buddy were "teaming", just because I hit him after she threw a hatchet at him. Like no dub, there are two of us now why would we not down a survivor that runs into both of us.
  • Yeah, Nurse really sucks to play against sometimes. Especially when there are so many maps without walls to block LOS. Map direction lately has been many unsafe loops, little safe ones and no LOS blockers. If you can't force nurse to make a prediction blink, she just needs to get within a certain range and her next two…
  • This is what I thought was supposed to happen when I tried the combo as well. I would argue it should be a bug. I am fine with the aura reading from Scene Partner not triggering, since the scream is worded like a pre-requisite. But the suppressed scream should absolutely trigger the aura reading from the perk Hardened.
  • I had this same issue. I was going to link my new Playstation account from NZ because I can't make purchases with the Australian one (I no longer live in Australia). But I couldn't find anyway to add a different PS account when I signed in to the Bhvr account, it automatically used my Australian one without giving an…
  • I do agree that survivors should try their best not to 3 gen if they can, but at the same time, the longer you are not on a generator at the start of the match, the less pressure you are putting on the killer. Not to mention that some killers will identify their gens from the beginning and will protect them vigilantly. If…
  • Okay, so I tried just continuing past that page to see if it would do anything, and funnily enough, it seems to have worked? I logged onto my playstation to start everything. I have not logged onto my PC or Xbox, since my PC is storage. But it seems like all my DLC and prestige has carried over, including my killer…
  • Regardless on how avoidable the bug is, if they are bragging about using it then there is nothing stopping you from reporting them. Exploiting bugs is a bankable offense. I am only stating this once though, do not report random survivors for this when it happens. Only report the ones that you show evidence via chat…
  • Everyone is talking about this from the killers perspective. As a mostly solo survivor I would appreciate knowing if I am playing with a 2man or 3man party. Most swfs are likely to help each other so I know I don't need to waste time going for a save when one of them are on it, and I can focus on gens. I don't agree with…
  • I skimmed over the news update and thought they said 4500 Auric Cells, that sounded reasonable to me, I've bought more than 3 times that many ACs worth across Xbox/PS4/PC. When I reread it and saw they meant shafds that felt a bit like a slap in the face not gonna lie.
  • Ah I see. The fact you said Low Profile "mode" is why I didn't realise you were talking about the perk.
  • I am assuming by low profile mode you mean crouching? Funnily enough the game does have this implemented in a small way. If you are crouching and not moving, your injured grunts of pain will be significantly quieter. Not gone completely, but noticeable, especially if there is ambient noise the killer might go past you if…
  • I gotta say, as a Twins main, it is very difficult to avoid slugging. If survivors are not good enough to reset, meaning they just continue to heal each other in the same spot without relocating, then of course Victor is going to go for 2 attacks if you don't kick him. Bt using third Seal is just disgusting. It will never…
  • I am partial to Kay-wiff. If you say coo - wiff too fast, it sounds kinda rude haha...
  • Davd released with Huntress in Chapter 2, Lullaby in the Dark. Ace got released in chapter 3, Of Flesh and Mud. EDIT: nevermind I forgot that technically Halloween was the second DLC released, and Huntress came in the Anniversary. I knew Hag was chapter 3, oopsie. I do agree that Ace definitely has more right to be in the…
  • The game will warn you if the perk is in play and actively revealing your aura. I usually either avoid using the item, or I pick it up and put it in the corner far from objectives.
  • Unstable internet bans I agree with, I think most people it's not even a discussion. Dying on hook is something that exists because the devs allow it. If I was the devs I would remove the penalty to hook time on escap attempts and failed struggles, and change it so that each unhook attempt gives you some sort of in game…
  • Can you imagine having 7 survivors Bodyblock to prevent one survivor getting downed? 8 players is gonna be absolutely insane to see, It's exciting.
  • Really? I've taken a break from the forums a while ago, but last time I hung around here I thought the opinion was "You can't force people to play the game". That was in regards to giving up on hook, where people act like making your team lose should be acceptable because they aren't having fun. I mean sure, technically…
  • Hag doesn't need 110%. As someone who actually enjoys playing hag she is one of the stronger killers in the game of the survivors dont remove her traps. The one change to Hag that I would make is making it so that traps within a certain radius of the hook will disappear if the survivor is unhooked (similar to how Knight's…
  • A long time ago, DBD had an idea that you would be able to hide from the killer, or if you are unlucky to be found, you could evade them using windows and pallets could buy you enough time to escape and lose the killer in chase. Maps were dark, so hiding and escaping was very possible. Nowadays, the game is balanced around…
