  • As a PS4 player, I fully agre with this approach. Sony needs to be pressured more on this, and I sincerely hope that they change their policies by the time the PS5 comes out.
  • I thought as much, just wanted it to be clear 😊
  • Not entirely true for all games, but for DbD it certainly is. Another issue with allowing transfers in a game with microtransactions is what we are seeing with Sony's reluctance to allow cross-play/progression with other platforms in their games. Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/Apple etc. take a cut for everything purchased on…
  • They won't be allowing the transfer of progress. The mobile game is built as a free to play microtransaction based game. You get 2 killers and 2 survivors, and you'll have to spend money to unlock the rest, unless you want to grind for months on end. Transfering progress and/or characters from the base game would take away…
  • I've tried both the Steelseries Nimbus and Rotor Riot controllers, and all the buttons work like they do on console, except for the right stick, which makes using a controller quite useless at the moment. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Also @preetygoodforumsofar, if you are using iOS, the new iOS13 coming out this fall…
  • I litterally had a game go on for twenty minutes after third survivor was killed, and only one gen and all totems were done. No crows. I looked everywhere, listened for the caws, patrolled the gens that remained untouched, there was no sign of the last survivor. After twenty minutes, one of the spectating survivors started…
  • I've made the suggestion before in regards to the hatch, that using it should have a drawback. It shouldn't award points when used, but rather deduct them. It should also rob the survivor of their item. That way, the hatch is truly a last solution for getting out alive, rather than a preferrable one.
  • I think the issue stems from the fact that the area between the exit gates and the exit are pretty much safe zones for survivors. This allows for toxic behavior such as teabagging and general poor sportsmanship, and I would love to see this change. Perhaps the devs should consider making these zones unsafe instead? As in…
  • Not exactly, it depends on the DLC. If the DLC is an actual download, it will usually work for other users, but if it's currency or DLC that simply needs to be unlocked, it will be tied to the account. Auric Cells fall under the latter.
  • The way I see it, if a survivor is last man standing without the doors being powered, they have failed as a team. Maybe instead of rewarding points for escaping through the hatch, a penalty to bloodpoints would make more sense. This way the survivor wouldn't leave without getting some points, but would still be awarded…
  • I haven't gotten below a 3K with Legion since I got them. I find it really easy to down survivors, and I like the utility of their power. The way I play: Find a survivor, frenzy and stab them. Take a quick look around, if there's another survivor nearby (as in an achievable distance), I got for them, stab and repeat. When…
  • Wow, I created this thread because I was surprised to see Sony encouraging a strategy that breeds toxicity (not patrolling a hook, litterally camping it). I'm aware that the strategy is "legit" and the devs condone it, but it doesn't make it any less unsportsmanlike, and survivors witnessing this behavior time and time…
  • The way I see it, this isn't camping, but rather remaining in the area, while you search for the survivors you know are nearby. The way the blog post is written, it encourages camping all hooked survivors, whether teammates are around or not, which isn't exactly sportsmanlike behaviour.
  • It's a terrible strategy, that more often than not leads to a loss for the killer, and plain boredom for the hooked survivor. Not exactly something that would encourage players to stick around.
