  • Tbh i use distortion more for info than stealth. I lose a token and 9 time out of 10 i know exactly what triggered it and boom i can tell my team one of the killers perks/add ons. Plus I always sit there sniggering like mutley when a killer tries to spot me with nowhere to hide, kicks a gen and does a quick 360 then…
  • Bled someone out as trapper. Had the daily ritual for killing a surv by your own hand with trapper. Since I didn't have any mori tokens I assumed the only way to so it was bleeding them out 😅 Sacrificed 2 survs and bled the third out while the last one repeatedly pointed at me. That and i always used to give survs on hook…
  • Jeff johansson. He's one of the more wholesome survivors, loves dogs and metalheads are awesome. I like him enough to have ground him to prestige 100
  • Kate denson is the one you want. Probably the strongest set of perks on a single character imo. And for killer i wasn't talking about tunneling the same surv over and over 🤣 i meant tunnel vision. When a killer zones in on a chase and commits to it for far too long, loses a bunch of gen progress for just 1 hook state.
  • Yh me neither. And that's why there are mute functions, every game with vc has them. You just cherry pick who you want to talk to.
  • As i said, it wouldn't be perfect but it wouldn't be 100% bad all the time like you make out. But it'd be better than what we have. Egc serves absolutely no purpose. At least in game vc would be useful some of the time.
  • Omg if they did the billy bubba combo they could both get horror theme mario and luigi costumes 🤣
  • So what endurance perks require zero input? Because I can't think of any.
  • Top tip for both roles. Survivor: use. windows. Of. Opportunity. Such a good perk for beginners, lets you be much more effective in chase, seeing pallets and vaults through walls is invaluable and lets you plan on the fly and be totally aware of where the nearest safe spot it. Killer: do. Not. Tunnelvision. So many killers…
  • Not 100% of the time. Obviously. It's online gaming, some people will always be toxic little goblins with zero impulse control. It would simply serve more purpose than endgame chat. Like seriously what is endgame chat? 90% of the time just a vehicle for salt to let players rail at their opponents after the game is done.
  • Nemesis and wesker would be funny together because resident evil. Plus there would be so many supply cases scattered about and the empty syringes and spray cans would pile up. Ghostface + wraith would be very stress inducing. Doctor + skull merchant no gens would get done ever. Deathslinger + hag because cue banjo music…
  • So you're saying survs who are trying to work together in game would be more toxic to each other than survs and the killer immediately after a game when their blood is running hottest? Sure
  • Its like p100 syndrome. Some streamers are god tier players but I find a lot of them are actually pretty mid. Plus i enjoy chatting with them in stream after. Although I have noticed that ttv tags who arent streaming often play maaaaaad toxic and will ragequit very quickly if downed.
  • I really enjoy playing as and against him. His power is very interesting, good for shutting down loops, quickly damaging stuff and getting hands off pressure. Playing against him it's basically get the hell away when he goes to drop a guard. Break LoS so it doesn't chase you and he's forced to M1. Playing as him is a lot…
  • Well this is certainly a hot take. Honestly not sure if you're dangling troll bait or if this is your genuine opinion. Survivor is by far the harder role to play, endurance perks are difficult to trigger and often require very specific situations. And trying to say face camping and tunneling requires skill? Really? Hard…
  • Yeah I'd like to see hook states as killer. I like to try and double hook all survivors before I sacrifice anyone. The amount of times I've inadvertently put a surv on 3rd hook stage early is really annoying. Plus it wouldn't encourage tunneling. A tunneling killer is simply focussing out 1 survivor and it's very easy to…
  • As killer i usuly kill 2/3 and let the last 1/2 go after double hooking them. Then i walk them to a hook, shake my head and point them to gens or hatch. They usually seem grateful, and other xbox players I do this with generally have a nice convo afterwards. As an xbox player I don't see egc and I'm better for it I think.
  • Same with wesker but his blight skin is pretty cool. And maybe on trickster it could look like uv paint or he could have loads of throwing knives melded into his skin or something
  • Give us blighted Demo boi pleeeease 😭🥺 Pipe dream I know but I'd love to see it.
  • Matchmaking is pretty broke. I Especially if there are any backfills since they won't be mmr filtered. Not that mmr filtered matches are that accurate anyway. Usually mmr as killer is a little more stable tho, maybe you're a little rusty with demo? And your previous mmr is coming back to haunt you. Props for not dodging…
  • Tbh i know a lot of players who are reluctant to play killer. It can be intimidating to go against 4 other players with no help.
  • DEMOGORGON Demo is the reason I tried out dbd in the first place. The idea of playing as a supernatural creature and hunting down survivors really appealed. A year after starting he is still hands down my killer main. One of the most well balanced killers in the game imo. Requires skill tonuse well and can really sing.…
  • Instead it gets replaced by people DCing or unaliving themselves on hook the second it looks like gens won't get done, because there's no other option to get out. Yh sure you get goons who just play for hatch but in my experience they are pretty rare. I can deal with the odd hatch players against how intolerable the…
  • Killer does have the advantage tho. When it goes to hatch it's generally easier for killer to find. Unless the surv is explicitly running hatch aura perks.
  • But killers have the advantage. I don't think it's fair for a guarenteed 4k every time gens don't get finished.
  • You're missing the point. Dms slows down gens. I'm not saying it gives auto hits but it buys doctor a lot of time. And at least meyers needs to stalk for long periods of time to build up to permanent exposed. And you're arguing minutiae, sure you can run healing perks and there are other counters to the build. But survs…
  • It's far easier to get kills as killer than to escape as a survivor. Killers don't have a basekit equivalent of hatch because they simply don't need it. I play both roles pretty equally and killer is easier by far. A 0k game is very rare for me as killer because if i know gens are going to get done I can usually focus one…
  • Because people very rarely play to lose. Sounds like you were just playing a baby nemisis who got a bit tilted and fell back on the good old facecamp tunnel routine. Like no killer wants to end the game with a 0k. I consider myself a pretty friendly killer, i tend to let at least 1 but more usually 2 survs go. But it I'm…
  • Killers have plenty of ways to force a kill in the endgame if they've done bad. Namely: NOED, rancor, face camping, bloodwarden, NWO. As killer I find losing 1 surv to a hatch escape much less annoying than getting insta downed and facecamped to death by a NOED enjoyer.
  • Tbh it's easier for killers to find. Pov doesn't really matter, I usually hear the hatch before I see it, killers can move faster and not worry about being caught en route. And tbh I would like to see survivors have an easier time getting hatch. Left behind and clairvoyance are perfectly fine. A hatch escape is still a…
  • I mean yeah that's how killers win. Having constant mapwide pressure is so stupid. Like imagine using DMS, you hook a surv then static blast a few secs after, everyone gets knocked off the gen, then locked out. You know exactly what gens are being worked and have incredible slowdown. Coulraphobia+sloppy makes healing…
  • They absolutely should. Anyone abusing the bug is choosing to break the game. And they should be treated like any other cheater. Just because an exploit is there, doesn't mean people have the right to use it.
  • Egh. I love playing my main (jeff) finally got him to p100 last month. But I have noticed it causes a LOT of killers to dodge so a lot of my matches with him are all over the place. And I find I either get hard tunneled (I'm worse at chase than my p100 might suggest) or ignored completely in favour of tunneling out…
  • This glitch is doing my head in. I'm fed up of people cheating and holding games hostage like this. It is annoying for killers but also surv. Like I'm trying to play solo q but we're basically playing a man down because there's often someone abusing this glitch
  • Sure but it'd certainly dissuade people from going for hook saves. Especially if you can't tell if he's proxy camping with the TR. Last thing we need is a build that helps hook campers.
  • Because map wide terror radius is insane. Coulraphobia + sloppy butcher + unnerving presence would make it literally impossible to heal. Because hitting every surv with static blast everytime you fire it would be broken. Because it would make the terror radius useless for survivors and tbh hearing a heartbeat all match…
  • I doubt players are going to get insta banned on the first report. It's a hard one to prove and I think it's a common accusation. I've had a few salty players threaten me with this after a game when I've done nothing of the sort. One where I released 2 survs after killing them and one the other day where I was apparently…
  • It's mainly about learning to use the tail as far as I can tell. I haven't brought him to play killer yet, but playing against him as surv? It's hard to counterplay, it doesn't telegraph like slinger or huntress, which makes it hard to dodge. My best bets for dodging are usually faking out doorways, vaults and greeding…
  • I'm the same, when I started dbd last august, the first few months I proper sweated my grades. But it wasn't a pleasant experience, I was working so hard in matches and especially as killer I was using every dirty trick and stressing to secure those 4ks to get my pips. After hitting iri 1 for both roles in a month I…
  • Yup totally agree. Players choose to be ######### and it turns into a vicious cycle. Killer main gets bullied by sweaty toxic survivor squads, so decides to take out their frustration on the next surv team they get the upper hand against. Those survs then torch click and teabag against the next killer they beat, rinse and…
  • Bloodpoints. That's literally it. Not a fan of it myself, just encourages players to sweat hard and has no other benefits.
  • I haven't had a terrible time against xeno. I've escaped like 60-70% of my matches against him. Idk if my mmr has just been throwing me weaker killer players recently or something but xeno just doesn't seem that scary to me. Best bet with turrets is set them up around high walls so xeno has less chance to spot them. In…
  • Imagine people using that over spies from the shadows 🤣 it just has more steps.
  • I'm torn between demo and slinger. Demo is my main and he's just such an awesome truly inhuman scary monster, unique and his screeches are so recognisable and scary in a very primal sense. Like the whole being stalked and hunted by an eldritch alien monster is such a cool horror thing. Slinger has such a cool backstory,…
  • If they add it as a proper i game option fair enough And I'm not saying it's superpowers like blatant hacking style cheating, but it still confers an advantage over players who can't change brightness i.e. console players. You can't say brightening up dark maps like dead dawg and backwater swamp doesn't make it so much…
  • Idk I get on quite well with clown. And he has some very interesting addon builds. One I've been messing around with a lot recently is the invigoration aura read one. aura rea I wouldn't say he's an A tier killer, and I'd imagine he gets ruined by made for this. But wouldn't say he's that weak.
  • Lol talk about deflection, I wasn't talking about looping I was talking about finding survivors. The game doesn't have a brightness or an FoV slider, for a reason. We have perks that explicitly affect FoV, and offerings that used to affect light level. They aren't supposed to be modified by players, particularly not with…
  • It's just a fun, unique game. As many games as I see with toxic killers as surv and the odd game where I'm killer and get rofl stomped, most of my games tend to be fun. And i have a few friends who still play it that are a good laugh.
  • It worked fine for me, but it's a janky mechanic, perhaps the chase is dropping for a second after dropping the pod and before you manage the mark? Tbh best way to guarentee getting it is just have a farming game. Make friends with survs and then you can farm it easily ennough.
  • Ehhh idk. Want to see how xenomorph players get on. Before I drop any money on it. And I'm not hugely interested in Ripley's perks
