I agree this would be an awesome option, and would show off more of the various banners & badges with players who do play both roles!
-
I thought part of the reason they got rid of those flicks was because it wasn't possible with a controller?
-
Yeah, our machines are strong enough to run this game well, but the way it was coded they have trouble digesting it. Just as many laptops & lower-end PC's can struggle with it as well. That bottlenecking was the reasoning they gave when they fessed up that they just couldn't get the prior gen machines to run their game at…

I believe us on console are locked in at High graphics settings, and cannot change it. For a while I was wondering if we would regain anything performance-wise if we could change that setting like our PC cousins can, but like a year back or so they said no it wouldn't'.
-
Love you precious Switch cousins!
-
They know it's badly wanted by the community, but most of it is out of their control. They need to strike a deal with Sony and Microsoft that all parties can live with, and that hasn't happened yet. A couple of surveys ago they asked us if we'd be interested in a partial limited kind of Cross Progression, where some things…

Full blown Pentimento is awesome yes! Killers should feel able to run a "this annoys me so nope no more of that" perk in their builds, maybe chisel out a slowdown for it.
-
Agitation and to a lesser extent Iron Grasp mitigate so many annoyances in this game. Much like Lightborn, having it when you need it feels soooooo good. The surv equivalent is running things like Unbreakable and making good use out of it.
-
Yeah those rituals are intended to coax players into playing the opposite role more often, which is a good thing actually. Playing both sides does make you better in both roles, and slightly more sympathetic about the annoyances & stresses players experience. Also getting out of the comfort zone some allows for growth…

Now now, I ran with some PlayStation folks a while back that I couldn't talk to through the Xbox, and two on Xbox who chose not to join. But, yeah nearly all are on comms.
-
They've said many times any match replay system cannot be added at this point, would have needed to been coded in the original game in 2016. Apparently it's near-impossible now, the reason sadly the players themselves have to record their matches when reporting.
-
There's absolutely no way the prior Gen consoles could run DBD with any of that, prolly melt a Switch.
-
It would prolly be better to change this achievement/trophy, but sadly that is not an easy thing to do at all.
-
I too preferred the nighttime for the Coldwinds, but this could be a good compromise. Kinda wish the game could handle varying times of day, and weather effects.
-
I'm on Xbox series x and got a 1.24G update just a few minutes ago (4:14pm Eastern US) to the 7.7.1 version. If your Xbox didn't update DBD automatically then you'll have to look for it yourself and start the download: Dashboard > My Games & Apps > Manage > Updates Both of you will need to be using the same version of the…

As a consoler much of what you wrote seems like a different language. But nearly everyone has had performance issues since the update to UE5, with rubber banding the biggest complaint. Today's patch is supposed to address most of it.
-
Think of that area as both a store and catalog of almost all cosmetics.
-
It is usually a visual bug with the after-trial screen, and very rarely a hacker. Restarting the game usually clear it up.
-
Pop Goes The Weasel, a perk from Clown that's very very popular to run on killer.
-
Solo queue + not running Bond + iffy game sense = this
-
The last major update did indeed moving the game to UE5.
-
Good luck! 😁
-
Whenever I've gotten this issue on my Xbox, and restarting the game several times like you tried didn't fix it, uninstalling & reinstalling the game and the restarting the Xbox usually fixed it for me.
-
They plan out their in-between updates with various bug fixes like weeks ahead of time, and as others have mentioned the strobing problem no doubt forced back many things they already had in the works. Now throw in an Engine upgrade. Lots to deal with. And I think we all need to keep in mind each patch has to be reviewed &…

He was sneaky good in either role, when he chose to serious up & play for reals! I think the addition of Head-On made the game much more fun for him, along with the cosplays.
-
As far as I know they've always said they have no plans on a DBD 2, which would be a nightmare for dealing with all of the licensesd content. Wish they were. It would give them a chance to recode the game from scratch and then add in so many cool things they can't right now. Plus an adequate match replay system too.
-
Those of us on Xbox cannot even use their Anonymous Mode, and likewise cannot change our names each trial. 😕
-
It is true players in Asia and South America aren't near any of the game's servers, so many have to VPN around or eat 200+ ping just to play. Globally we need more servers, which costs if they're decent ones.
-
Their servers have been wonky worse than usual since the last big update that's for sure. Unfortunately their DC penalty system doesn't differentiate between connection issues or manual disconnects, and treats them all the same. Otherwise it would be open to too much abuse by yanking cords etc. Whenever they do have to…
-
My comedic subroutines state this exchange is approaching iri status.
-
How in the world could they do anything about comms being used, if they actually wanted to? Discord is it's own separate thing, and the consoles have built-in comms that are entirely separate from whatever game is being played. There's no way to regulate that. As far as removing SWF, that is one of the true things that…
-
This is the most realistic approach. The bugs need to be ironed out plus a few months time to pass, and then we can better judge Twins. As far as source, I imagine they're referring to Nightlight stats, which I too have issues with being anything other than a semi-useful chart sort of maybe.
-
I don't think there is a decent reason why not to do so.
-
Piggly Wiggly 💕🐷🐽 Second killer I picked up, and by a huge margin played the most. Always liked her power, when I works it works so well. Fits my playstyle the most.
-
The snares being used as the teleport spot is interesting. Perhaps an animation of miniature Freddy clawed-arms holding the surv like a three second trap.
-
I bestirred myself and the Entity, who was temporarily playing Civ 5, and together breached the shadow realm to watch the 8th Anniversary stream, so the casual players mains didn't have to.
-
The only reason I can come up with is to cut down on potential lobby dodging maybe? There's lots of players not near enough the too-few servers to get a decent connection, like in Asia and South America, so many have to VPN around to play at all. The solution to that is more servers globally. Could they even know if…
-
I believe they said the fix has been submitted for approvals to all the various platforms, so prolly waiting for that.
-
Players freely toss around the notion this and that will kill off this game, but actually removing SWF is one of those things that would. Being able to opt out of SWF would kill queue times for everyone, and those groups would likely never get a match. The last stats put out about such things showed around half of all…
-
As for smacking Bubba while in tantrum, that takes pretty precise timing with a pallet, which of course is at the mercy of ping, latency, and the whims of the games coding. It's been years since I smacked a Billy, and I don't believe I've ever hit a Wesker in power tbh.
-
BHVR does not work on weekends, with minimal staff to do things like emergency Killswitchings only. Most of their patches come out on Tuesdays so most likely then, but with the seriousness of the strobing effect problem maybe on Monday I'd say.
-
This. Any player blocking feature would be soooooo open to abuse, even a limited fashion, and queue times would also suffer. Nope.
-
And if we are?
-
Didn't that spot and a couple of others already exist? Before this update?
-
I agree such banning won't go over too well. Dunno about Discord stuff, but how could they do a thing about comms on the consoles? They're built-in and independent of whatever game is being played. I've been in a chat party where we were playing three different games! 😜
-
Direct cheating to me would be messing around with game files for advantage, but ultimately it's up to the devs to determine what goes or not. Now things like equalizers and filters etc. cannot be really detected let alone controlled by them, nor comms for that matter. How could they enforce anything along these lines?…
-
I think that's leftovers from the new DS animation they messed around with but didn't let go live.
-
The implementation of their Anonymous Mode violated some of Microsoft''s policies, and it was removed after like two weeks or so. I don't believe it will return sadly.
-
The Swamps do seem funkier than usual.
