because she can literally pin point track survivors if they get in range of her drone or have a tracker on them, also her drones are only visible from a shorter distance. i think the singularity has a similar problem as he can easily find and initiate a hunt with ability. also on a sidenote is it just me or can the dredge…

i see but that could be a problem because then two survivors would only need to be near each other for it to be a protection hit even if they are not trying to protect which could become to unbalanced

Just remove the requirement your team mate doesn't necessarily need to be weaker than you for you to be protecting them and there are many reasons you may want to do so like number of hook states and perks. i see but then it would become to unbalanced or hard to implement the change imo if you are considering every perks…

there are also other cases where survivors take hits for each other (like a survivor dead on hook/down) but these can't be as easily judged as protection hits in my opinion (because it is not an equivalent situation as one of the two condidtions currently in game) and that is why i don't mention them.

i see i guess that could also have been the reason i was chasing survivor around shack before i thought that was far enough away also i think it only slows the progress bar down i think but i didn't know that "The meter is "disabled" when the killer is carrying a survivor within the hook radius" thanks for enlightening me
