Looks like I'm not the only one still waiting on them.
-
Still haven't gotten mine and I've played Bubba since 2019.
-
Probably should have confirmed beforehand then. We followed the algorithmic schedule of the game and some clarity beforehand is usually helpful.
-
New HUD is desperately needed. Old HUD didn't give enough info and was feeling dated anyway. I'd say just get over it and deal. It's not a big bad thing honestly. The game needs new coats of paint to keep up.
-
Well, to be perfectly honest, it's not valid. If you leave your team to die too quickly, you automatically lose. If you let someone die before a gen is even completed, you lose. If you let 3 people die while you were doing gens, you lose. It's not a legitimate strategy, it's a losing one.
-
Aside from all of this, there's a lot of bugs associated with the killer. Perhaps priorities should be set before we focus on killers, especially ones that start out as broken as this one has. Small edit: I shouldn't say killer, I should say DLC. Priority should be fixing the game instead of adding a broken DLC.
-
I don't know if you all have played, at all, but I have played many matches so far against this killer. There's just no way to play around it. It's all slug, tunnel, camp. That's literally what this killer does right now. And I'm red rank survivor and killer. I can't stand to play as the killer, it's too easy, and playing…
-
Also I just realized I probably put this in the wrong section but oh well...lol.
-
Thanks for the input guys! I got Adept Wraith by virtue of the people not being particularly great. I'll try to draw out games when I see the chance. :)
-
I play on PS4, the choppy 30 frames is gruesome, but not that bad. I managed pretty fine. Just chalking this up to how people choose to play on console vs how people choose to play on PC. I'm not saying PC doesn't have its share of toxic people (it may be worse in a lot of instances) but the fact that I can't even call…
-
And we just had another console player camp and tunnel pretty hard. Wraith. Interesting games I will say. All of them have been console killers. What a bummer.
-
Nope. Consistently happens enough that it has been a problem for our group. You can assume all you want my dude. This has been a problem with console players. I think I prefer the PC meta.
-
We play fine. Console toxicity is just having an effect. That's all there is to it. No idea why people imply it's some sort of skill gap.
-
Because they come here and moan about it lol. I've seen enough posts about it to see this. And I saw Devour Hope players on console enough to know it's some weird meta they have. The meta perk on PC is Corrupt Intervention. Not so much of a weird post really.
-
No, he's middle tier. Almost on par with Huntress (who can be quite good with a skilled person). But okay lol.
-
Also, maybe you guys should quit excusing exploitative behavior and instead encourage the developers to get on a fix for this instead of releasing more skins. Might be more fruitful. I play killer too but you'll never catch me doing this stuff.
-
100% agree. Focus on that first. Yes.
-
It's fine if you didn't know. I just wish the devs would fix this so it's not a problem. Hotfix please?
-
They are taking advantage...of a glitch. What do you not understand about this? And why are you typing so furiously about it? What's wrong with YOU? Have some empathy to the situation. People getting stuck in the hill is not their fault. It IS the fault of the killer when they take advantage of the situation and hook the…
-
They're downing the people and hooking them. It's not their fault if they didn't realize this garbage was still happening. This is not entitlement on my part. It's the killer taking advantage of an exploit, a reportable offense. Look it up. Please don't sit here and accuse the person trying to make it known that this is…
-
THANK YOU! That's all I really wanted to know. I thought this kind of thing was eliminated a long time ago. I recall people used to get stuck on other objects as well. I hope the graphical update fixes a lot of things...might introduce some new problems but I'm more than willing to see for new eye candy whenever it comes.
-
I can coordinate and do whatever I can with the SWF, they're competent people and we can do well when we don't have a killer that plays like a scumlord. You get sick of repeatedly getting stuck with the bottom of the barrel killers who can't win legitimately. That's the problem here, it has nothing to do with us. I hope…
-
You come off as very pompous and holier-than-thou with the way you word this. I'm gonna disregard everything you just said. It's wrong anyway. The game has toxic people, and that's how it is. Yes. But there needs to be something done about that toxicity. There are steps taken in other games to prevent that behavior. I want…
-
I'm guessing you haven't played much then.
-
That's all easy enough to play around. The matchmaking just needs to pair people up appropriately and even with SWF it can be okay. I've defeated coordinated SWFs before. Not the problem here. The problem is people making choices to just constantly go after one person and get 32k without actually playing fairly or honestly…
-
From my experience, they aren't. They can be pretty bad but it just ramped right up with console players.
-
There is a lot to call out. It's people CHOOSING to be toxic. Is it bad to call them out for playing unfairly? Stop making excuses for people.
-
Odd because that can happen on any platform and I have had it happen on PS4.
-
I'm going to say what I want to say within reason. Blood Warden is pretty scummy when paired with the rest of that. Don't tell me my words are silly when I've noticed a trend of console players doing this since yesterday. It's just an observation.
-
Not sure what you mean with "jumping across your screen". If you're talking about rubber banding, that can happen on any platform. If you are referring to the mystical "hackers" that apparently flourish on PC, uh...nope. Hackers are rare even here.
-
That's fair enough, but I just don't see this level of nonsense on PC. I'm okay with cross play, but...come on. Is this some kind of weird console meta?
-
I know you think PC is a haven of "hackers" but uh...hate to burst your bubble there...IT IS EXTREMELY RARE. There are mostly just toxic people who gloat in post game. I'm sure if it was allowed, console kids would probably do the same. The 60 FPS doesn't really matter much for a game like this though.
-
This new MMR system is garbage and everyone knows it but BHVR apparently. There's more that needs to be done to get this game to matchmake according to real skill. It's clearly not matching people appropriately. I am a rank 12-13 killer with about 800 hours in the game (mostly as survivor as my friends like to play with…
-
It's every god damn game now.
-
I didn't have this problem until now. :(
-
This is the exact opposite problem I'm having, I'm currently rank 13 getting sweaty red rank survivors and it's killing my enjoyment of the game.
-
I'm getting sick of being matched against sweaty red ranks as killer. It's really ruining my fun. I don't want to go up against people who just constantly gen rush or go around slamming pallets because they have no ability to do anything else.
-
This doesn't work for me, I have problems with my OS (Sparky Linux) finding the kernel headers. I don't feel like messing around with this and searching the deepest annals of the internet for a solution to a problem that shouldn't exist. They would have a better time just porting to Linux. EAC isn't really a barrier.…
-
My point was that it's not as powerful as you're making it out to be, and you really are just bitching and asserting your opinion as fact. Spinechill can't help you against a good killer. Maybe you should get better if you are playing killer. I've gone against spine chill gamers as killer and there hasn't been much…
-
He's literally slow and easy to dodge/counter. If you're scared of him, you must not have played PTB. He's not that bad. People accusing him of being OP, I expected. Nothing new. He's really not though. He has a lot of utility like Doctor, though.
-
You're missing what these outfits are from entirely. They're part of the Silent Hill collection added today. I don't care if they're "immersion breaking", they're REALLY cool to see if your'e a Silent Hill fan. Guessing you aren't. Educate yourself a bit, play those fantastic games. There are a few, I recommend the first…
-
Why would it need a nerf? High ranks don't need to use it, unless for a challenge. Low ranks use it to learn the game and get a feel for when and where the killer is coming from. Mid ranks can escape sticky situations as they're a middle-of-the-road stage and kinda still need the help sometimes. I run it and it doesn't…
-
I think this could be useful, but I see the one where you can block gens being particularly more useful against Pop users. For the People has proven useful for me in clutch situations, but lots of other combos are fun to work with as wel.
-
Don't mean to revive this if it's dead but I am interested to see if I can play this game on Linux. Reading this, it seems that may not be possible currently, even with WINE. My GPU is AMD and a lot of games use OpenGL (not including DBD, I know), and I know the implementation of AMD on Windows 10 for this is pretty bad,…
-
I was getting fed up with people who kept doing toxic garbage that wasn't necessary in game. They could just do what I do and run loops or stealth around the map. It's more fun and generally makes things more interesting. For me anyway. Doing toxic things to make yourself a bigger target is doofy in my views. It just makes…
-
I disagree that there should be a penalty for that. I think there SHOULD be adjustment based on if they're together or not (like it is slightly easier to rank for the killer, for example). I think there should also be a display indicator that tells the killer who is in a group together. Perhaps BHVR will get the idea soon…
-
More like the ones who are bad whine about perks they don't know how to work around, so the developers get to the point where they nerf the good perks and make them fairly unusable. The people who aren't the best but still pretty savvy get the short end of that deal and drags them down to lower ranks, as I have seen for…
-
I've lately faced weird connection issues as well, so that's compounding the issue. This game is fun half the time, but the other half is a nightmare of issues.
-
People are beyond strange. I had to quit out of games due to the gameplay of survivors. It's just toxic both ways. When I'm a survivor at times (more frequently lately), people give up on hook right as I get there, or they block people in, or they do some other scummy garbage. When I'm killer, they just dance around…
