That's a funny looking Quentin 😄

Sounds like a cool feature, but how does someone have an excess of Auric Cells? Don't you have to buy them? If @ImAJoke264 point is accurate, that is a worthy concern to have (with all of the hacking going on in DBD).
-
I haven't played a lot of DBD since they added Glyphs, but from the little experience I have with them, I think they would be pretty neat to have more often. They wouldn't be so alien if they were a part of dailies instead of the tome challenges.
-
It needs a perk balance system. Very old perks are still core meta (and rightfully so). At this point, I think core mechanics in DBD greatly incentivize the meta perks rather than other perks just being too weak. Bond and Empathy are pretty decent, but more experienced players could give up having that information to…

I think SBMM reveals balance issues in DBD.

Who is Jonathan?😄😅

😄 If it glows, it goes!

Sprint Burst is not at the level of Dead Hard. Dead hard is an on-demand dodge or an on-demand boost of distance. The other perks that give mobility to survivors have much more drawbacks. Sprint Burst is not as controllable as Dead Hard. Yes, you can manage your exhaustion to hold it, but it is not held in the same way…

Last time I heard discussion about this kind of problem was like...July 2021? A lot of players thought that a base instant regression from kicking a generator was needed due to the problem that you mentioned of survivors being able to tap a generator. But yes, a lot of players already like a change in the kicking mechanic.…

Thank you for bringing this up. I just came here during my loading screen to make sure I wasn't the only one.

Claiming that this is the "worst state of game ever" and NOT including perks and add-ons is simply disingenuous to the whole conversation. The state of the game relies on ALL parts of the game; from system optimization to in-game purchases to, yes, matchmaking. You can't expect others to agree when you say the whole state…
-
Try getting a pallet stun on him. He can't melee after canceling his power anymore. If you're in the open, watch and try to juke his ranged attack. Try using more stealthy tactics. He's not a Doctor that can make you scream. Try leaving a generator sooner or run Spine Chill or other stealth perks.
-
You are flat-out wrong if you support your claim with matchmaking alone. There used to be actual infinite loops in the game. Brand New Parts would fully repair a generator with 0% progress in the slap of a space bar. There used to be no Exhaustion status effect. Matchmaking times were incredibly long for everyone (I know…

Yeah. Too many times game-breaking bugs come out of the woodworks when a new chapter is released. Binding of Kin really lowered the DBD bar of standards when the game became unpleasant to play due to bugs. A lot of them had nothing to do with the new characters. It really ruins the mood when you update your game to a worse…

During the Endgame Collapse, I like to play a little "mini-game". If I close the hatch as killer, I want to hook the last survivor. However, if they are able to loop me long enough or hide long enough so that the Entity finishes them, I tell them in the post-chat that they beat me. I also play the "mini-game" as survivor…

I'm sorry, too. I got really heated over this. I'm definitely not looking for a match specifically the same end results. If the 5 of us did get another game together, we could go to a different map, so that the Spirit wouldn't have to cross the galaxy that Mother's Dwelling is. There's a better chance of her wiping the…

You are looking at DBD like some robot using MMR as your eyes. If the game is 4 independent games, how does altruism get factored in? Saying that survivors are not on the same team and their interests just align makes no sense. That's like saying a football team doesn't work together, they just pass the ball to each other…
-
What is wrong with you? I want to see if I can find these players that I had a fun time playing with and friend them. Unless you were in the match, you have no clue how the game went. Mother's Dwelling is a massive map, of course they're likely to "perform below average according to MMR criteria". The Spirit did a great…

Thank you for this information. I came onto the forums to see how the new chapter release is going. I have had internet problems recently, so I have not been able to actually play DBD. I have seen some bugs in YouTube highlights, but I wanted to get more information before thinking that ANOTHER disaster of a chapter has…

Duck & Cover - Survivor Perk You aren't afraid of getting dirty to keep away from the killer. You can live with laying on the ground of the Entity's realm. While standing still, hold the Activate Ability button to go into a prone state for up to 3/6/9 seconds. Duck & Cover has a cooldown of 60 seconds.
-
Yes. Please.

1) I started playing a little before the Legion PTB, mid 2018. 2) At first, didn't have a survivor main, but after I prestiged a bunch of them, I didn't prestige Dwight in order to keep the perks on him. I consider myself a Dwight and Tapp main now. I still haven't prestiged Dwight so I have a survivor with all of the…

Thank you @Kernelzilla

Very rare sight to see.

Detectives Hunch. Bring a plain old green map and the perk marks the totems. You don't even need a green map if you can keep track of where you saw auras. It's kind of strange how old this perk is and how popular hex perks still are. Kind of weird how you made this a poll. Kind of weird having a small list when a bunch of…
-
I interpreted this as using a perk and it not working. I activated bloodwarden, and the survivors just phased through the block.
-
I like it. Starstruck puts some fear into survivors. If you hook near a generator, the survivors will pay a price if they don't scatter.
-
A similar thing happened to me while I was playing Survivor. I play on PC Steam. I was grabbed out of a locker by Freddy. I was trying to stun him with Head On, but he was able to search the locker before I could jump out. While the Freddy was carrying me, no wiggle progress bar appeared. I was pressing A and D as I…

The game tells you this before you confirm the prestige on a character.
-
I think this is a bad idea. It changes the essence of Hag and makes her more of a Trapper. Flashlights can be used to break her traps. Hag also uses her traps for movement rather than relying on raw movement speed.
-
@Toybasher I just thought that since it's a skill check, it should fail if you let go of the generator. No other skill check has that effect, so it seems like a bug that needed to be reported.
-
I agree.
-
This just happened to my friend. We were on Steam PC. Even though my friend was using Calm Spirit, sometimes he would scream out loud. He was using Dwight with Calm Spirit 2, Prove Thyself 2, Hope 2, and Dark Sense 2. He brought Sweet Fresh William offering and a Worn-Out toolbox. The Doctor was using Overcharge 3,…
-
I got mine when a teammate DS'd the killer while I was on a hook nearby. #skillz
-
This also happened to me in a game. Edit: I was spectating, and I do not know if it only affected spectator view or the survivor view as well.
-
It sometimes happens on PC Steam, too. They pip in the endgame lobby, but the pip does not carry over out.
-
Stream sniping is not fair, and neither is SWF. Yes, it is a double standard.
-
It happened with a sacrificed Jake for me, too.
-
I agree it's not necessary, but I think it's a pretty nice-sounding option to have.
-
I don't see any harm in it. Yes, it would open up a perk slot, but you would also have to bring a map rather than any other item. I think it would be a neat option to have. It makes me think of an idea for another map add-on. Since you have to hold the activate item button (Mouse 2) long enough before the map starts…
-
I kind of like that idea. Maybe it could be a benefit for prestiged characters? It doesn't have to be only for prestiged characters, but what if prestige 1/2/3 characters could directly get any tier 1/2/3 perk by using bloodpoints or iridescent shards? It's a rough idea.
-
I like Legion's Mori. I like how the survivor fights back and resists a little. The survivor shoves them back and blocks a vital attack with their arm. I know it doesn't really make sense since you would think 4 people could gang up on the one Legion, but I like how it reminds me that a lot of the the killers are just…

I think Hex: Undying is mostly fine. The part of the perk I do not like is the aura reading abilities. I do like the idea of having a hex perk that can sustain other hex perks as Hex: Undying currently does. I do not like how it also provides the killer aura reading abilities to monitor their totems. I think that the aura…
