I wanted to go as DbD's version of Ghostface or the Legion for Halloween last year. Still wanna cosplay them and possibly Pyramid Head too.
-
The counter to Keys is Franklin's Demise or hooking them first.
-
It's probably because their powers take time to reach that level. Hillbilly has tank controls while using his chainsaw, Myers and Ghostface need to stalk Survivors to a certain degree to get the Exposed status, etc. NOED just makes it so they don't need to bother with their power and just hit the attack button.
-
Could be hacker or they used some kind of exploit to glitch through the gates. EGC didn't start so the Exit Gates didn't actually open.
-
If you're a Killer Main, people get mad if you try to talk about changing Survivor Perks or items or something that it makes harder for them to complete their objective. If you're a Survivor Main, people get mad if you try to talk about changing Killer Perks or Powers or something that makes it harder for them to hunt down…

That's really toxic. GG. In all seriousness, having a perk that allows hooked Survivors stun Killers within range would be an interesting one. And it may reduce camping Killers. Though knowing this community, it'd be used by toxic people.
-
For me, I count a 'win' as two kills minimum as Killer. Whether it's them DCing or doing a Hook Suicide, if they're not in the match anymore it's a win to me. If I'm playing solo Survivor, it's me escaping obviously. If I'm playing with friends it'll be at least one of us escaping. This doesn't happen a whole lot.
-
I made a slugging build with Pyramid Head once and I was garbo at it. So I stopped. It's really not a good idea unless you're playing with a character who can insta-down people or keep them from getting up.
-
Just sit on the other end of the map. If they wanna risk the EGC just to be jerks and taunt you, they can. Look around the Hatch if you want too. This is what I do if I get Survivors like this.
-
I saw someone on the forums recently say it be reduced detection on Killers with Undetectable. Like, Ghostface with an active Shroud triggers Spine Chill at 26 meters instead of 36 meters. I think something like this would be a good change to Spine Chill for stealth Killers. Maybe an even range like 12 or 16 meters, but it…
-
It's more or less fine how it is in my mind. I like Scott Jund's suggestion that if a Survivor starts healing or working on a gen it should turn off. That way Survivors can't use it aggressively. It'd be a bit of a nerf, but not a whole lot.
-
If there are other people in the match, I'll still hook them because they'll most likely be saved. Usually when a Survivor stops struggling it's because they've given up. I won't always give them the hatch, it kinda depends on how they did as a team and if I feel like I had fun.
-
Yeah, matchmaking is broken right now. You'll get Red Ranks even if you're a Rank 20 Killer. They're making a new system and are going to introduce it at some point? I wanna say, with Trails of Torment, you get Undetectable. It does what it sounds like, the Survivors can't see you. You have no Terror Radius, Red Stain and…
-
Yeah, she really needs to be reworked. The Devs usually work on Killers who aren't played a whole lot, if I remember correctly? I know there's a rework for Leatherface and the Hillbilly coming out soon, but IDK if they have plans for the Pig.
-
I've been meaning to make the suggestion (along with concept visuals) for a kind of 'counter' to SWF. Basically having a symbol between two or more Survivors that show that they're either friends or have played multiple consecutive matches together. That way, Killers can back out of lobbies before the match loads. They…
-
My friend has a build consisting of Thana, Ruin or Dying Light, Remember Me and Blood Warden. It's pretty good as Freddy and Pyramid Head too.
-
TBH, I don't think we should get rid of SWF. Not because I think the game will die (I kinda doubt it, there are plenty of solo players out there), but it's just fun to play with your friends. And mine aren't terribly good at the game, so the Killer still has a chance to get a 4k. What I think should happen is them…
-
You know the whole point of the game is not knowing who the Killer is until you see them or something tips you off like the Nurse's shriek or the Doctor's static right? It's unfair to the Killer if all the Survivors know who it is and purposefully build their loadout to counter their powers and make winning next to…
-
Matchmaking has been broken a while. I've seen Red Rank Survivors while playing as Killer and Red Rank Killers while play as Survivor. They said something during the 4th Anniversary Stream that they're going to rework how matchmaking works so it's more based on your skill level than rank I believe?
-
I just don't like Myers. But I feel like Ghostface is a better 'Stalker' Killer since his power can be negated or set back when Survivors reveal him. Myers's power is just constant leveling and Survivors can't do anything about it except running, and that doesn't even impede Myers much since Evil Within III makes him…
-
I never run perks that let me see blood. I mostly use scratch marks and sounds to find Survivors.
-
I'm thinking about getting it on PC so I can participate in the PTB, but I need to wait till I get a powerful enough PC to run it (mine is currently garbo) But I also have DBD on PS4 to play with friends who don't have an Xbox
-
I honestly try and evaluate the Survivors in the Lobby before the match starts. If I don't like them (i.e. They're all in store bought cosmetics or prestige gear) I back out. But yeah, something really needs to be done about matchmaking. I'm rank almost getting exclusively purple and red ranks.
-
Had a match recently with what I think was a SWF. They got three gens done before I could hook one person. The match had been going for maybe two or three minutes? I thought they were hacking at first because it shouldn't be possible to get that many generators done that quickly.
-
For my rules: Don't Camp. I tend to double back to hooked Survivors after checking on a gen, but they usually get unhooked by the time I get back. I will face camp if I figure I'm going against gen rushers or some toxic people. First Come, First Hooked. I will chase down the first Survivor I see usually. If that happens to…
-
This is why I think there should be a Casual Mode or a way just to freeze your Rank. Even if matchmaking wasn't broken so I'd get Red Ranks no matter what Rank I am, I don't want to go beyond Rank 12 or 13. It becomes a point where I have to play dirty and do all the things Survivors complain about like tunneling and face…
-
Would the Survivors get some kind of notification that the Agent is using their Gadget? Like maybe a scanning overlay over the map? Or maybe an Iridescent Addon can add that scanning overlay, but let's you see them even if they aren't moving? Also, I only see Agent 47 when I see this Killer. Maybe a corrupted/zombie…
-
I feel like the Phantom Animatronics shouldn't be able to harm Survivors. Having Phantom Freddy just chasing Survivors and breaking pallets should be all it can do. Animated Machinery seems too powerful, if it was based on the Killer's Terror Radius or the last few gens the Killer has damaged it could work. But as is, it's…
-
BHVR said in the past Q&A Livestream they tend to rework Killers who aren't used a whole lot. They said they're currently going to rework/tweak the Clown next.
-
Because some Killers are just toxic in general. OR they wanna facecamp.
-
They've been working on it, I know they mention it in surveys. It's more than likely on the roadmap for the year, it's just hard to make sure everything works and doesn't break. And Sony has been especially slow when it comes to cross play with their consoles.
-
Killers are supposed (at least think) they have the upper hand going into a match. While it's not always the case, it's always a mystery as to who the Killer is and which strategy to use for countering their abilities and play style.
-
My friend has a Freddy build consisting of Thanatophobia, Dying Light or Ruin, Remember Me and Blood Warden. It's evil.
-
That is literally the Endgame Collapse. I have seen lots of people, myself included, get literally inches from the Exit Gate and then the timer runs out and are sacrificed.
-
So, does this mean the Killer has been beaten when four gens have been turned on? They just need one more gen, but they've already gotten four so why not just give it to the Survivors? And, unless the Exit Gates spawn when the EGC starts, there is no way it's always one is far away and the other is close. They both could…
-
Yeah, I haven't played Killer against high level players. I don't like to go beyond being a rank 15 Killer because I don't like being competitive, I like having fun. And worrying about if I'm going to rank up isn't fun. This sounds more like a ranking issue for the game, rather than making it more difficult for Survivors…
-
They should turn all the Killers into Survivors and make only one playable Killer; Doomguy.
-
I had an idea for a Nosferatu-esque Killer that I never posted and I saw something in the suggestions for a Blob inspired Killer. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what the new Chapter is in a couple weeks
-
Aren't Shrouds a secret offering too?
-
So what? Killers are just entitled to 4k? The EGC makes it so all the Killer has to do is run out the clock. They don't have to do anything but chase Survivors. You don't lose any points by having them be sacrificed by the Entity. The Survivors still have to go and unlock the Exit Gates during the Collapse, but they can't…
-
Psycho Chapter confirmed! NGL, that'd be pretty cool if they did that
-
It'd be interesting. The Exit Gates could be like the stereo-typically giant doors mansions seem to have in movies
-
I do really like this, but I have to ask; Is the Goop a brighter color than the ground? Because if so, it'll be easily spotted by Survivors. And if it's not, will it make noise when travelling flat on the ground? I imagine it'll make goopy, sludgey noises.
-
And if we went with your method, the Killer can just waltz up to the door and go "Hey! This has been worked on!" and then camp the rest of the Collapse. Because the Survivor doesn't know where the Gates are when EGC is going on. And if they've worked on opening one Gate, chances are they won't have time to go to the other…
-
1: That sounds like a personal problem 2: You are describing Memento Mori's perfectly, since you only need to Hook a Survivor once to kill them 3: That's a lie, because I've done that. it's hard, but possible. Quit complaining about the Hatch. If you remove the Hatch, remove Mori's since they serve a similar purpose of…
-
A lot of people are having issues like this right now. We're hoping BHVR looks into this. Supposedly they're going to implement an MMR to the game so people get matched with players at their skill level. Until then the strategy I've done is to back out of matches before they load if I get 3 or 4 people already there, and I…
-
Still doesn't load for me. What's the issue in the game? Is it a bunch of Red and Purple Ranks?
-
Your screenshot is broken
-
That makes absolutely no sense. If you're entitled to a 4k then get to the Hatch before the Survivor does. It's that simple. The Hatch has been around since forever, it's not going away. They added the ability to close the Hatch since people kept complaining about Hatch standoffs. If they have a Key, run Franklin's Demise…
-
If you don't want SWF's as Killer at night, pull out before the matches load if you get three or four people. Especially if they're in bloody clothing. Then find another match. Do it a few times and you'll more than likely end up with Solo Survivors
