Exactly. This should be common sense and shouldn't even have to be said. When I first joined this forum, it was to try to gain knowledge and advice. I quickly realized this is a forum for people to whine and complain, even though it accomplishes nothing. The only reason I occasionally come back is to see killers and…

Neither side should DC. If you can't complete a game unless it goes your way, you probably shouldn't play at all and should definitely grow up a bit. My ideal gaming experience would be a match where I don't get camped or tunneled, and where my team mates work as an effective team and aren't sandbagging potatoes. When that…

Pretty much. It's funny seeing people actually trying to justify rage quitting, and it's sad that they actually believe being a baby is justified.
-
Because some people need to whine and [female dog]. The amount of crying and complaining on this forum is ridiculous. A lot of the posts are sickening and biased up the wazoow, from both sides. I think the saddest part is that all the whining and strongly worded posts on here amount to little to no change. It's just a…

You're stating your opinion as absolute fact. That's why literally every reply was a rebuttal to your claims. Some people enjoy playing stealthy and are pretty decent at it. You enjoy being bold and being chased. It's your preference and it's the style of play you enjoy. Seems like everyone on here is mature enough to…

Body blocking and survivors colliding with each other can actually be of benefit to a killer. I've been downed plenty of times trying to vault through a window or over a pallet, but another survivor was in the way and I couldn't vault it in time. If survivors could phase walk through each other, then survivors could all…

It was obvious he was trolling. If he was being altruistic and trying to give me chase points he wouldn't have downed me less than 10 seconds after he intentionally let me wiggle free. I've had killers that are cool and will let you escape or farm. This was not the case. The point being that this notion that all killers…

2 days ago I played a match where the doctor held the game hostage, knowing I wouldn't want to DC because of the penalty. After killing 3 of my team mates, he downed me. The end game hadn't been triggered yet, and neither of us knew where the hatch was. Instead of hooking me, he picked me up, dropped me, picked me up,…

Things have been going smoothly for me as well. Haven't seen a DC yet. However, I played a match yesterday where the doctor held the game hostage knowing that I wouldn't want to DC because of the penalty (plus I don't DC anyways.) He killed all 3 of my team mates and got me down, and instead of hooking me, he chose to pick…

Because I like to make my own decisions and try what works for me. I don't take people's opinions/anecdotal experiences as absolute fact. What I find fun and useful, others may not and vice versa. It's good to have different advantages you can utilize properly. I think it's fun to try different things and learn how to use…

I'm terrible with flashlights. I can never aim properly. I never invested the time in learning how to use it, and I don't really like them enough to want to try

Speak for yourself. I use bond, deliverance, self care and lithe, and I'm still capable of avoiding the killer, hiding and being stealthy. Not all the time of course, and maybe not as much as I could with those perks, but it definitely is possible and does exist....? It's kind of a matter of knowing when to run, when to…

I let go if I notice that my team mates aren't actually doing anything. If my teammates are working on gens or being chased, or if I'm being face/proxy camped, I will wait it out and see. Those are valid reasons to not unhook someone, obviously. However, if the killer is nowhere near me, no one (or only one person) is…

Bond is good for solo queues because it lets you know where your team mates are, which can be of benefit to you since there's no communication going on. I'm working on getting it as a teachable perk. You get to know what gen a teammate is working on and assist them to speed things up. You get to know where someone is being…
-
I can understand being annoyed about how fast gens get done. I can understand not agreeing with gen speeds and thinking they should be fixed. That's an opinion that can be understood, even if you don't agree with it. What I don't understand is when killers get mad at the survivors for completing gens quickly to win the…

*cue amazing grace song*

It's funny you post this because I was literally thinking not so long ago about how flawed this game is from both killer and survivor perspectives, and I was wondering who would buy this game now knowing the state it's in. The answer is no, I would not recommend it. Not only has this game had its fair share of bugs over…

Yes, they are on console. Last night it took me 45 minutes to find a match solo. About a year ago on ps4, with a 4 man group it would literally take ONE HOUR to an HOUR AND A HALF to find a match. They fixed it no so long ago, and it was running okay for a while. Now it seems like it's heading down that road again.

I misread the OPs comment and thought that he said "toxic behavior that does get banned." I re read it and realized he said "doesn't get banned." I was like what? Hahaha
-
Yeah, I re read the comment and realized that I read it wrong. He said toxic behavior that doesn't get banned. I thought he said does get banned. I edited my original comment to make it clear

Is it really not accepted by the Devs? I'm honestly asking, I don't know. I always get annoyed when killers camp or tunnel me, but I always thought it was a legit strategy/style of play that is annoying/weak but not against the rules of the game. I figured if it were there would be some sort of preventative measure or at…
-
I think they should do what For Honor does. If you rage quit, you can't play for 15 minutes. I think they should do this and tweak it by increasing the time you can't play the more you rage quit.
-
Yeah, you should be respectful towards people. What's ridiculous to me is the notion that you have to play a certain way to accommodate and spare someone's feelings. If someone is that sensitive that they can't handle certain styles of (legit) gameplay, or even tbagging, then maybe they shouldn't be playing dead by…
-
Some of your complaints are simply part of the gameplay. Gen rushing is a strategy. The whole purpose of playing survivor is to escape and survive. Shocker, right?. Completing generators as quick as possible is the goal when playing survivor. They allow more than one person on a gen and speed up the repairing for a…

Absolutely ridiculous. The game is called "Dead by Daylight", not "Spare Your Feelings by Daylight." It's a competitive game where the objective is to either kill or try not to be killed. If someone is that sensitive that you need to consider their feelings during a competitive video game, it's probably best that they stay…
