This absolutely needs to be addressed ASAP. I've had the longest game in my entire DBD experience since 2017 since I went against a duo that had a wraith go around and kick gens, break pallets, and reveal survivors while the billy just went around and slugged people until everyone bled out. Not a single cage used. I think…

You know, I used to LOVE bringing OG Hangman's trick. Nobody realized how insanely useful always getting your hooks back was. No matter how many people died, no part of the map ever became a deadzone on hooks! Also just felt like a good luck charm so I ran it every match until it changed.
-
I just played a match in Chaos as Killer and wound up with no perks, favorite build!
-
Very late sorry, but having seen this comment again, what did you think of the Eyrie of Crows?
-
(Note; This is nothing against you! Your opinion is fine and dandy, I just have had this issue for a long time and this update has made me want to communicate it well. I'm just going crazy with all I've ever thought about the inconsistency in DBD.) I would say all of it lately. When I left DBD, I had already believed for a…

Did they not get reworked since they came out? I haven't played in a long while, but I recall seeing a leaked add-on that hinted at a rework. The add-on suggested something like Victor's pounce being fully charged would trigger a new action of some sort.
-
In terms of fantasy, I understand killers having some paranormal/supernatural powers, however, I do not find giant floating crow heads to be ANYTHING that looks remotely good in dead by daylight.
-
I would say I agree, but she is far from the uncanny valley, she has too many things to set her apart. However, her ink hands are pretty scary upon second glance. Looks messed up, in a good way.
-
I did a while back! But, I removed it because it was related to police brutality, and this was during a very controversial time. Maybe I'll reconjure it up and release it. But I've kinda lost interest in DBD after the NFT, and now the new chapter.
-
I used to always stay up late on a call with my crush, I was so head over heels for him. We used to play survivor late in the night. Then, when queues got too long to endure, I would play killer and stream it to him and he would watch and always hype me up. Then, at school, we'd always talk about upcoming chapters,…

My first round was a little less cute haha, I played as nurse and had no idea what to do. Didn't care for a tutorial, if there was one. I just spent a good portion of the match hitting a totem trying to make it do something. Survivors were teasing me left and right but I had no idea what was even happening so I did not…

Couldn't be! I know BHVR would never put money before their audience, game, or even planet! That is not like them at all. It must have been something else...
-
Same, it's brutal, but it was necessary.
-
Same sentiments to you! People like are you the backbone of all that is/was good in this community, it's a shame the game has gone this direction. Proud of you for leaving it in this situation though, it's not the easiest decision, no doubt.
-
I feel you completely. I remember when I first saw DBD, I was in art and saw a spotlight for Freddy Krueger, and I instantly grew obsessed. I had been waiting ages for a game like this, and here it was. I got into, poured too much of my life into it, and got stuck. I had so many good friends from it though, and I used to…
-
I have no option but to do the same, sad thing to see how downhill this has come. I can't see the game ever making me quite as excited as when Stranger Things came out.
-
Count me in
-
You deserve it far more than BHVR. Besides, you created my favorite interaction of all times on the DBD forums.
-
For me, I had to replace it with more real-world stuff, such as practicing piano, learning a new language, etc. Those things are super helpful and productive when it comes to quitting DBD, atleast in my experience. Other than that, I've shifted my video game focus to Train Sim World 2 (???) but that's probably unique to me…
-
You and me both :D This NFT set me over the edge to finally leave this damn game, it's had such a chokehold on me for years, but now I'm done.
-
I'm honestly just so happy to mentally free from this game, the NFT is genuinely a blessing to me in that way. I've about 3,600+ hours, and countless dollars on skins, and I felt indebted to keep playing but this was enough for me to stop. I've had breaks and whatnot before, but this time I think it's best I remove this…
-
Normally, I would be extremely hyped for a new chapter. This one, however, I didn't really feel attracted to. And now? I definitely don't think I'll be putting any more time, money, or effort into this game and company. BHVR has proven to be pathetic over the years, and this NFT was just the cherry on top. Cheers if you…
-
This was in regards to the new movie, not DBD ghostface. The rights to create an addition to the Scream franchise were acquired for it.
-
Yeah, I agree. I PIII just to feel completed on a character, but it's so demanding and for little to no real reward. In my head, I thought it could be used at any moment, but maaaybe a little mechanic where for each item you buy, it reduces the cost to refresh by 50 BP. That way, say you buy 5 items, the bloodpoint refresh…

Hangman's Trick, and Camaraderie IMO. I used to run both fairly often, Hangman was a goodluck charm. It came in use in niche moments before the aura change, but now I don't use it as it has no effect on broken hooks. Camaraderie I try to run now and then, only once has it ever activated, and it was not any deciding factor…
-
I still run it now and then, but this change made it very not worth it. It's hard enough to use as is, and this EGC change made it even worse.
-
I personally think it would be neat if she did a little twitchy thing (unique to vaulting) and then disappeared and reappear on the other side. You'd still be able to tell she was vaulting, but it would look cooler IMO and more on brand. Or maybe even have her flash a phase of her mid-vault.
-
Thank you! I'm so glad someone agrees :-) I had never, in 4 years of playing DBD, thought of something like this until the other night when I accidentally went to prestige a PIII character and it hit me, haha. I really, really hope this gains some traction.
-
I think I may have! I'll try to reupload, I just gotta find it and update... Thank you!
-
Conclusion: the chain hunts will hunt your internet cord.
-
I like to think that these bugs will be, somehow, related.
-
Same, I can appreciate the sets that include dresses, or different waist level clothing, but when the hair piece does nothing to alter the character? It doesn't NEED to be locked in.
-
As a twins main, it can be, but it's usually just painful. Victor can't vault, so he can be easily countered. Also, with how big the map is, sadly by the time you find em, they're usually healed or long gone, if not both. :p
-
ok
-
I may be masochistic for it, but I love 'em. But not the kind where it's like a huge difference between an infinite and a sudden deadzone. Those walls are annoying. I like the ones where it alters the map's layout and creates shortcuts. Not completely chase altering, but it does shake things up. One thing I would LOVE is…
-
I don't feel like this is a common opinion, but Dead Dawg is my favorite map to date. The graphics for starters are insanely well done, but that's not why I love it. I love it because it's dynamic, it changes drastically over the round. It can begin favoring survivors, but any oppressive killer can shift that quickly. And…
-
Some David was crouched in a rock corner, and I was doc so I took the opportunity to tier III him, promptly letting him out of the corner once tier III had been reached, and I was warmly greeted with my favorite interaction to date; I like to think replying with :fs15chicken: to any hate is a good way to respond.
-
Yes yes yes! I've always wanted a nice little suit for Adam, I should think a teacher located in Japan would have one, but all we get is streetwear... seems a little racist not going to lie. Although I'm probably just reading too far into it.
-
I do! I really do, I just like to hold my time for better things, but if it helps: this is my post, and therefore I really don't have to adhere to your desires! Thank you for voicing your feedback, but nobody else seems to have a problem in understanding this post, so maybe... it's just you? Glhf
-
Yeah honestly, I think it would be nice too. I almost feel bad for survivors some times because you can just tell how lost they are without a coordinated team.
-
I mean. If you don't like the poll, ignore it? Lol
-
I have always been an odd fan of indoor maps, but this one... This is straight from hell. I have NO IDEA how this made it past the team? It's huge and horribly designed.
-
I could see 48 hour being nice, but on the same token, if the shrine changed every day, it would be much better for those not finding any new perks in the shrine. And now I'm realizing it is not that deep and it doesn't really matter that much. But yeah! I could see that working, too.
-
This is true, but also she's slightly bugged too in the manner that survivors WILL cough and hurl as if they've been infected, but they won't get infected. That's just to add to the insult already.
-
That's the idea, I didn't want to be too specific. Use your imagination. If you can't, then I dunno how to help ya there. But yeah I agree a bit with what I think you're trying to say there, the inconsistency between characters and their lore can be frustrating. Adam, for example, is a teacher in Japan but hardly has any…
-
Yeah I think they did something with the eyes on all survivors, looks more real IMO. Also, with the cheeks, it's just texturing. She had some weird contouring colors on her cheek beforehand that made her look like she abuses drugs ngl.
-
Didn't think I'd need to add tone indicators but I guess I should start doing that. I was joking there. /srs
-
I like it, as a Yui main I am actually pretty happy about it. She looks more human, and slightly more Japanese at that. When she first came out, I was a bit confused because she just looked caucasian with slightly generic asian features and oddly strong cheekbones. Too reminiscent of Nancy lol. She feels more relatable in…
-
I don't think the cosmetic department is good at writing patch notes! Sorry bout that.
-
Yeah same here. This sums it up for me tbh. Tomes are basically the chapter version of the archive stuff. For the battlepass thing, a tome is basically a chapter offset by a month and a half. Only the tomes introduce new lore, cosmetics, and challenges rather than chapter content. Does that make sense? I kinda explained it…
