It is only rational that both sides prefer the best outcome.

Sorry for the delay, mobile forum kicked me out and wouldn't let me log back in. For all of those characters I would advise a defensive playstyle. I would encourage you to equip NOED if you have it on each of them and instead of focusing on guarding on all 7 generators focus on guarding the closest 4. Survivor spawns…
-
What killer do you prefer? Do you have Corrupt Intervention or NOED? If you can answer these, I might be able to help. As a guy who plays both killer and survivor I too have seen the rush.
-
The biggest issue with the Coldwind Farm realm by far is map size.
-
I honestly don't know what I expected.
-
Honestly? The suggestion that my sanity has waned might not be too far off to be frank.
-
If you need Hag help try @SpaceCoconut dude's a wizard with Hag.
-
I thought META was an acronym: Most Effective Tactic Available.
-
I understand that Kindred doesn't magically make my team mates better. However, It gives me the opportunity to be that better player. Sure, if all my team does is hide and I'm the only one doing gens and saves we'll all die. Have you guys seen Kindred recently. I feel like its buff went under the radar of a lot of players.…
-
Okay, this is a tip for all solo queue survivors out there. ADD KINDRED TO YOUR BUILD. Seriously, they buffed the crap out of it so if you use it your games will be better, trust me.
-
Huntress is the go to for new killer players.
-
"You get what you get and you don't get upset."
-
If I HAD to choose one it'd be pineapple, I think?
-
Fire Up, NOED, Bloodwarden, Enduring. I procrastinate hence the Fire Up, NOED, Bloodwarden. Enduring is just because whenever I get hurt irl I start seeing red. Killer would be Legion because I'm a decent sprinter and can't see myself running with an active chainsaw.
-
My personal preference is neither to be honest.
-
It's this time of the year again:
-
Ah yeah, takes me back:
-
You raise a good point. /s Why on Earth would you DC to begin with, where are you going?
-
The only suggestion I could see working would be adding gas canisters to each map. You have to fuel a generator before you can repair it, done. Just scatter them around in plain site. It's not meant to completely prevent gen repairs, just would add some extra time before repairs could start. Have survivors hold the cans in…
-
I've got a few questions for you: How long does it take for the first 3 generators to pop, on average? Do you feel like you could do well with any killer at rank one, or would you have to choose from a fraction of the roster?
-
Tunneling is just a result of the trash emblem system. Devout rewards you for hooks and kills and Malicious reward you for hurting survivors and not letting them heal. In an era where your best stall perks are Corrupt and Thanatophobia you're gonna see a lot more tunneling from people who want to win. 3 Survivors are a lot…
-
The only two characters I ship are Jake and Claudette.
-
If a killer farms it's purely for the survivors's sake to be honest. In most instances, if a match goes well enough for you to get Brutal or Ruthless you should be almost capping each of your bloodpoint categories. Survivors have to go out of their way to get points though.
-
The rise of toxic players demonstrates 2 key things: 1.) People are donkeyholes 2.) People are getting bored of the standard gameplay. Until the developers realize the second point, we're just gonna be stuck where we are.
-
There seems to be an influx of new killers. We're seeing lots of red rank survivors against weaker lower ranked killers so the high rank ones must be leaving while the low rank ones are filling the void.
-
Hoo boy, I get that you're upset but the game is designed to be mean, even unintentionally. Killer emblems reward hurting survivors and not letting them heal as well as getting multiple hooks. This ranking system encourages killers to tunnel off the hook to "win". As for camping, if there was no other survivor nearby they…
-
They should be revealed since it only counts if they're in your TR not if they can hear it.
-
Well the real issue with generators right now is that in most (The number I'm pulling out of my rear is 80%) matches you'll see almost 0 totem interaction so every second you are not chasing a survivor if they aren't healing or saving they're repairing. This "There's nothing else to do." problem is why I keep calling for…
-
I disagree simply for the fact that it doesn't take any level of actual cognitive function to understand "Hmm, the killer is watching that hook very closely, I should't go a save." I understand that many folks dislike tunneling and being tunneled. However, BHVR actually encourages tunneling with the current emblem system.…

Prove Thyself isn't really an issue. Coordinating with randoms is unreliable so I stack it with Better Together, Bond, and Kindred. I can crank out gens fast with allies, but in a chase I'm hopeless so it balances out.
-
The - or + rep system on Steam was(is?) mainly used by traders more than anything else. If you don't trade on Steam it shouldn't really do anything at all, tbh.
-
I always want more BP. Just hope that it's conveyed as an incentive to stay in, and not a celebration of a pandemic.
-
Use the Mr.X or "HEX: Gon Give It To Ya" build. Perks are as follows: Enduring, Brutal Strength, Bamboozle, Fire Up Killers: Myers for more viability, Joe if you have the Legion skin for the full meme. Addition suggestion: Listen to DMX - X Gon Give It To Ya while you play. The whole idea of the build is that you're gonna…
-
I mean, if you play Legion and rush the survivors as soon as they spawn in this just doesn't happen. At the very least the time of the 3 gen pop is greatly delayed.
-
Killer is weird right now. My queues on PC throughout the day are usually several minutes yet the survivors are almost never my rank. So even if there's few killers at high ranks, there's still plenty out there I guess?
-
I mean, it sure shutdown my Prove Thyself.
-
Matchmaking is currently broken. I have been told that the developers are working on a fix for this but I don't think it will be anytime soon. What are you having trouble with regarding the high rank players, might I ask?
-
Well it's not just a Trapper issue to be frank. Hah and Trapper suffer at the start of a match while they get their traps set up. So without Corrupt to freeze survivor repairs it's a crapshoot.
-
The only reason people advise against NOED so strongly is because by equipping NOED you are hurting yourself. If you use NOED you are playing with 3 perks for most of the game with a risk of having 3 perks all game. You also expect all the gens to get done which as a killer is a bad mindset to have. That's why folks are so…
-
From your avatar I assume you play Trapper? You have Corrupt Intervention on your Trapper, right? If not, well then that's half the problem right there.
-
I've always been a shut-in but now the whole family is staying home as well most days. The exception is my mother who works part-time at Michael's. Yeah, the arts and crafts store is still open and having business as usual during a pandemic. I guess corporate doesn't care if everyone dyes. (Homophone pun intended.)
-
My only guess is that he accidentally held the match hostage via a 3 gen without being aware of it.
-
Looking at this image makes me sad. You didn't try and blur the killer's name and you left your message in the post game chat in clear view. Just because you see 1 Bloody Party Streamer does not mean the game instantly becomes a farm fest. The fact that you assumed that was the case worries me greatly.
-
Out of curiosity, what killer were you playing when this gen-rushing problem occurred? I understand that many killers have issues with quick generator times, but I cannot offer help unless I understand what killer was used.
-
There is nothing wrong with camping and you made a good call camping in that scenario. The only reason I said camping can be inefficient is due to the fact that some killers will camp hooks from the very beginning of the game and end up wasting a lot of time (2 mins per person) lurking at the hook.
-
@ZeroCelsiuz In Dead by Daylight it's generally agreed upon that if you're lurking within 8-10 meters of a hooked survivor that you're camping them. In terms of efficiency with hook sacrifices, on most killers this is a bad call since you'll generally get more points for perks and add-ons by chasing survivors, even if they…
-
I mean, they look okay to me, just latency problems really.
-
Well, the "You'll be back" remarks have a solid foundation. If you've ever heard of the sunk cost fallacy or escalation of commitment and if you've played enough Dead by Daylight to want to make a forum account. Then, you've probably invested so much time in Dead by Daylight that by the time you finally try to quit, you've…
-
I mean, what else can they really do now? The devs made Saboteur a reactionary thing so they can't prep hooks. The only other thing they can do is totems and most killers don't like that.
-
We have Jake now, and he is of Asian descent.
