I'd bring in a Medkit. Personally, i'd rather repair a generator a bit slower than panic over being a one-shot until i can find someone else. Would you rather prefer to get a Head on save or a Flashlight save?

Except when i run past, the killer manages to catch up to me or at least see me vault into the locker. it's pretty tough being a solo survivor.

i've tried doing that strategy a couple of times before. either i accidentally vault a window beforehand or my scratchmarks lead him/her right to me.
