You don't get it. If it comes to balance, you don't change one thing and change the other to balance the change that you've just made x_X . And about looping, it's still unbelievable easy to loop the killer for entire game.

When you absolutely ignore the rank, I would say DBD is fun. Just higher ranks and performing to pip isn't (or at least is far less fun and more stressful).

I feel like prices were adjusted recently (for specific regions). Can anyone confirm it?
