good one
-
It was me, my gf, and 2 randoms. All the gens got done, but we all died
-
Here is the feedback- It doesn't work. Even if it did work it would suck. I don't want to get good at this game and play against or as Nurse and Spirit all day. The killers aren't strong enough to justify this system. I would think each killer would need a high skillcap and a lot of room to grow as a player, but if I play…
-
So I have to play a dozen games of dbd to get matchmaking results... but my results don't reflect my skill because I keep getting stomped because matchmaking doesn't work...
-
it was actually north of 140 tbf
-
You're delusional lol
-
Better be careful you'll get banned from the forum or have your post edited to censor you. True signs of people who handle criticism well. And if someone reads this that does that... maybe we all are so toxic and mean because we are ignored
-
agreed

I dont get why every change to a killer is the end of the world. Billy is still going to be good and strong and on and on and on. It just gets rid of people spamming the chainsaw around the loops and actually use your brain on when to chainsaw. I dont see this as a bad change, and if you're a good Billy it won't affect you…
-
I think we are saying the same thing in different ways. I know you can still be stunned by pallets I'm saying when Billy sprints he can go straight through dropped pallets without his mini stun thing
-
I said this before but you could play anyone and use DS. I'm just saying if you pick Laurie one of her perks would have to be used. You could play David and elect to use Dead Hard as your 1 required David perk, then DS, Spine Chill, and Unbreakable as the other 3
-
If I can chainsaw sprint through the pallet with no stun and still insta down a surv that is OP
-
But then it would be far too OP. It would've had no drawback. Now I can use my STBFL on Billy and M1 more often. You dont have to chainsaw all the time. I think that's what they wanted to discourage
-
I think the idea would be to chainsaw sprint and break the pallets as you patrol more than break them in loop, but depending on the loop it also can make for a surv dropping the pallet and still getting hurt. I thought it was an interesting idea to mix up his gameplay
-
Yeah I was just wanting to think of ways to shake things up
-
Well I understand that it isnt as generally useful but then wouldn't it promote adjusting perks more frequently so that more survs are appealing? After all it is just 1 perk slot and at some point you'll go for the adept achievement
-
I don't know anyone that really takes this into account when picking a survivor though. Maybe that's just my friend group
-
Well it would mean you could diversify your playstyle by using 1 of his perks no? Not one of Steve's perks is worth even considering?
-
I mean anyone could still pick DS or Dead Hard I'm just saying that if I play Jane I could choose Solidarity and still use DS and Dead Hard, but 1 perk came from Jane Edit: grammar
-
Wouldn't it promote more balance changes to make everyone more appealing? Idk I just think it sucks how 1 dimensional all survs are. Different skins with all the same builds
-
Oh no I totally agree. It never lasts that long. That's just the only scenario it could be useful
-
I'd agree. I play a decent bit of Killer and Surv and as a Surv I do every totem I find just to be safe from NOED or any hex perks like Devour Hope. As a Killer I would probably use Ruin if it wasn't a Hex perk. At the moment it just doesn't help me in game enough to make it worth bringing. The only way it's useful is if…
-
I always die when I try to save someone so I just play selfish at the end lol. I play solo so whoever I play with would've done the same to me
-
Yes
-
I think the problem isn't so much the ruin change but more the poor map design. On smaller maps it's easier to apply pressure and means that ruin isn't necessary. So if the devs make the maps smaller it would fix a lot of the problems people have. If the problem persisted then tweaking gen times would help fix things as…
-
I'm just going to play Surv until this stuff gets fixed. I'm a red rank surv and we pop 2 or 3 gens before the killer gets their first hook.
-
At this point uninstall and come back to see how the game is doing in 6-8 months. The game is so survivor sided rn and the new changes to Ruin are going to make it worse. I'm in the same boat. Everyone is asking why the game is a dumpster fire but the dev's keep turning a blind eye and say "We will just hide what rank…
-
I think the point everyone is making is that if a killer is in a chase you can jump on the totem and pop it. If you managed to 3 gen yourself then yeah it's a rough scenario, but you did it to yourself. No need to be toxic mate people are just responding as best they can. I myself don't really see the issue. Your statement…
-
You're better off playing survivor. Devs show 0 love to killers (hence a Ruin nerf as opposed to actually addressing the issue of how fast games are without it). Just play survivor and hopefully you don't get matched with crazy high ranked killers. Another note is the fact that they are going to just hide what ranks…
