What do you mean 'try' to reach a high rank? You shouldn't have to play any specific way to rank up right? In any competitive you'd be assigned to the rank you belong in by simply playing. @PiiFree

Ok that's fair, long queue times are frustrating. But it seems idiotic to care about pips for the sake of having a high rank as if it means anything.

Almost every game that has something of a competitive aspect to it will reward you for reaching certain ranks or milestones. People have made this suggestion for a long time, but the problem is SWF would completely destroy a disguised killer. Everyone can quickly report on what they are doing and where they are, making it easy to determine which survivor is the killer.

I think Hope is the most underrated survivor perk. Resilience is also pretty decent, as healing wastes a lot of time now and some killers (plague/legion for example) are not worth healing against.

Well yeah, I can't tell people how to play their game. But I can tell them what the optimal way to play is. Problem is when you have to deal with her corrupt purge because your teammates used all the pools and she has an endless supply.

I mean I tried not using the pools at all with a group of friends, we completely steamrolled her, she has absolutely no counter to loops. But yes I think in some cases it's okay, if you're injured, sick and on deathhook it could be beneficial. When I do use a fountain I also use the ones at the very edge of the map.
