I can't access the other two tomes for the 2v8 event….only the first one, which I've finished. What am I doing wrong?

Distortion is only partially effective against lethal if the killer still knows where to look for survivors next to you. You're found by proxy. If you're between 40m from the killer and 24/32m, you're not in the killer's TR and therefore not regenerating your Distortion tokens. Thank you for proving my point. I'm saying…

Eh, my friends helped me figure it out. Please delete this thread. Thank you.
-
Sorry for the time it took to get back to this. You're right in that it's lopsided. Killers don't have to spend anything on the main item (ie toolboxes, etc) and therefore don't have to worry about clutter from those that they wouldn't use like survivors do. Also, this wasn't as much of an issue before they changed the…

It does not fully delete Lethal. Another survivor next to me is nearly as pinpointing as not having Distortion in the first place. I have to move away from that survivor and hope it's not toward the killer in order to have a chance of not getting caught...which counters the idea of survivors working together, btw.…

Hi, Charlie, I'll answer these in order. It's good to know that you're not just a killer player. One truly needs to work both sides of the proverbial fence to get a better idea. Have you used Distortion? I can't remember if you mentioned doing so before. I think you'll find that the disparity truly shines when you compare…

I'd recommend that if this is the case, then the endgame timer doesn't regress as long as the killer is within a certain distance of a hooked survivor and for several seconds after. Then the survivors wouldn't need to 99 the door.
-
I personally use the scratched mirror addon for fun. There's nothing quite like a proper jump scare in a horror game!
-
I personally think they should add the "farthest survivor" effect to BBQ. Maybe then it would stop being meta.
-
How about the Terminator from the second movie? Sword arm attack as primary attack, transform to any survivor previously hooked as secondary ability. A time-delay in switching from doppelganger back to killer would be needed, I think. And you already have a survivor from the movie to go with it.
-
I'm guessing the OP doesn't play as a survivor much, if at all. There are few things more frustrating than having a killer hook another survivor/kick a generator/etc. and then having the killer beeline straight towards you. Speaking as one who plays both sides of the proverbial fence, I can tell you that, as a killer, I…

Regarding how keys work with hatches, I think that part should remain the same, but make it so that all keys do that, not just the purple and red ones. Making them speed up chest opening (not make it instant) is a good idea IMHO, along with allowing addons that can boost the chance (or possibly guarantee) of certain items.…

As one who plays both sides of the killer/survivor fence, I think this is a terrible idea, but ultimately it doesn't matter. This was already tried in PTB and didn't make the cut.
-
Personally, I think both ideas are great. Allow survivors to block 2-3 killers each (let the PTB determine what amount is best), and let the killer block 3-4 perks. Or maybe have a nerf effect on the selected perks (they only work half as well, for example). If I have to face the same killer 5 times in a row before getting…

I, on the other hand, am NOT looking forward to the Mori change. I like to use the green and red moris as an indicator for when a survivor is on their death hook. That way I can prevent from hooking them when I don't want to....which is usually the case (I like to go for two hooks each, then just terrorize them for the…

Well, it happened again...this time with the Cannibal. Same pallet. I took screenshots again for reference. You can see the stuffed tiger in the background.
-
Ohhh, you want to shut down pallet loopers? Go with the Doctor, with one of the fake pallet addons. Then just destroy every pallet they're stupid enough to throw. They won't know which ones to trust and which ones not to. And then there's the shock to prevent them from throwing it in the first place. <insert evil grin…
