I own a regular PS4. After lowering the resolution to 720p and rebuilding my database, I noticed a slight improvement, but nothing substantial.

I've been playing this game for a couple of years now, on both sides, but it's gotten to a point in which I can't enjoy killer anymore due to the atrocious frames. Hmm. I dunno about you, but EVERYTHING runs better than that map for me, so I can't say for sure that's good news. In particular, Hawkins, Ormond and new Lery's turn my PS4 into a potato when I play killer.

This. I don't plan on buying a PS5 anytime soon either. Should old gen consoles stop receiving support, you can expect a significant part of the player base to abandon the game. Also, queue times will pretty much revert back to what they were before crossplay was implemented (upwards of 5 minutes for Survivor).
