I played Suffocation Pit of the MacMillan Estate the other day. One of the survivors offered a New Moon Bouquet so the whole map was pitch black. It scared the hell outta me... and I was the killer!?!

If you penalized a killer for being too close to a hook (sorry I'm not clear on what kind of radius you were thinking) couldn't survivors simply camp the hook, and then save the victim once the killer was exhausted for an easy escape?

I think that maps should spawn dead-ends and THATS where the totems should be placed. Also checking dead ends would be dangerous for survivors. They don't have to be super long, just something that goes around a corner and comes to a stop. If you are searching for totems, then you have to GO IN to search. ;)

I'd love to see some stats on HOW FAST gens are getting completed for the different ranks of play. If 3 GENs are getting completed in under 4 minutes then something is seriously wrong. (I'm just guessing on time here because I'm nowhere near high enough rank.)

I seriously thought that the new killer was some kind of doppelganger (with all those different fingers). This would be a very cool dynamic and save the team on new killer art. 😉 Or put some kind of eye effect like something from the movie Oculus, when the killer has been revealed.

The only thing I would add is that it is next to impossible to detect when (as a 15+ year game developer) ppl are using some forms of voice communication. Even if you consider ppl playing in the same room over a shared network. But perhaps survivors should make more noise when they move in a group? Just spitball'n.
