*Pretends to be surprised* We'll be lucky if this ever gets fixed.
-
Somebody didn't pay attention before buying a cosmetic. For real though, it sucks, but there are several cases of this in-game. For example, Adam has an almost identical head to the base one for 400 auric cells
-
Kind of a shame really, it's definitely more important than something like choosing 2 challenges in archives instead of 1 or matchmaking incentives as it actually improves the gameplay but oh welp. Hopefully next year !
-
We'll have to see for ourselves whether it'll be useless, my money is on no, but even if yes, that's just ... Objectively a good thing dude. It's been 5 years of everyone playing with 3 health states for which, obviously, the game is not balanced. Personally I think it's dumb they're keeping the whole waiting for dead hard…
-
Quick question, the system is tentatively slated to release this summer, yes ?
-
Yeah but many of those people are in agreement SOLELY because this is otz, not because they have the knowledge, or even interest, to rank killers. He said pre-buff Legion is top of C tier which was absolutely ludicrous to me, as in my opinion he was absolutely the worst killer in the game, maybe tied with Pig.
-
I absolutely disagree on her not being one of the weakest. While someone like Trapper and Myers have no mobility and overall suck, they both at least have the possibility of snowballing hard and turning a game around with a few good traps or a single good use of tier 3. Not to say they're not bad, but they both can at…
-
I think you described it perfectly. When thinking about the whole phasing through pallet things I was thinking mostly about unique flair, but now that I think of it it would basically be just anti-loop. With Dead Hard rework incoming, she would definitely be decent if they buffed the things you said, which is her ...…
-
Yeah it was regressing, blocked a 99'd gen FOR SCIENCE
-
Yeah ever since they introduced the mmr system the matchmaking has been h o r r i b l e, it's one of the main reasons why I can't recommend this game to anyone, you'll be notoriously matched with veterans even as a total newbie ...
-
Awesome, because of the grind it's absolutely not worth starting from scratch (and it's the main reason I can't really recommend this game to aynone, regardless of platform, but that's another can of worms), but I'll be grabbing a copy on my switch as soon as cross save is out :O
-
Because mmr totally still doesn't do that, It's not uncommon at all for me to see survivors with around 100 hours despite having over 2k
-
Shoot, you're right ! I've totally forgotten about that ... For some reason you can't delete your posts here (Or at least it's very unclear how to do so ...) so a mod will probably do this for me soon, sorry xD
-
That explains it ... Thanks !
-
Yeah, I know, my question was about why it sometimes doesn't deal damage despite the survivor being really close to the crow, like 100% in range of damage.
-
-I love the new Coldwind's look ! It's a big change from the usual color palette, but I think it looks great and that's literally all that matters. -Nightmare nerfs seem okay, even more of his addons will be useless though, and also it looks like they didn't change the Z block, which is just ... -Demo buffs nice, that's…
-
Feel free to be the 1% of players who cares about lore, no problem here, however, lore should never take priority over gameplay (there are edge-cases, as usual, but a match-based multiplayer action game objectively does not fit into this category). As long as it looks better and plays better, it's a good change.
-
Base regression is fine in my opinion, it's not really supposed to be strong. Gen tapping on the other hand, is stupid. It takes 2 second to kick a gen, why it doesn't take 2 seconds to cancel regression (during which the progress is halted) is beyond me, seems like such an obvious fix.
-
I would propably stop playing. 5 years and over 2000 hours is not something I'm willing to rebuild from scratch, as much as I love the game, I wouldn't do it, especially now when the game's so rocky and my passion is definitely on it's last legs when it comes to dbd.
-
Pretty sure the 2nd part isn't an unpopular opinion lmao, that's literally how it is (maybe with the exception of deleting Urban Evasion, that propably is actually unpopular)
-
Im a killer main. This comment is just lol in general
-
Toxicity. You're getting ######### on by 4 people simultaneously ... However, It's always been a riddle for me as to why people actually care about toxicity that much, now I'm not making fun of anybody for being "weak", just asking about some pseudo-scientific insight because personally I never cared for it much, in fact,…
-
But that's exactly what you're saying that I'm against, I know it would be like that, just as it is with Myers and Ghostface and I think that's unnecessary, there is nothing wrong with some killers not being "super strategic" and instead focusing on moment to moment reflexes.
-
I actually disagree, making his laceration not decay or decay after a tremendously long delay would just make him play like Myers or Ghostface where he "99%s" people, Im far more behind the idea of him being a purely chase killer.
-
I kinda wish they focused on Main Event instead, as right now it's useless, will propably be even worse after these changes. Nontheless, good changes, glad they didn't listen to Almo for once.
-
Hopefully the delay's because they're working on a more complex rework, though this may mean on the other hand that we won't see it until like 2022, BHVR takes ages to change literally anything.
-
No. This would punish good survivors, punishing skill is the last thing you want to do. If you feel the need to, help the inexperienced players, but don't restrict good players.
-
That's just ignorance, to be honest. You don't need data to balance a game, it's definitely not unimportant, but you are able to tell whether something needs changes without it, especially in such an obvious case.
-
To completely solve, sure, incredibly difficult, but it's definitely possible to at least mitigate the issue. Give bonus BP for playing the currently more occupied role or at least tell players which role is likely to experience longer queue times. I understand the issue now (as I didn't beforehand), but I still believe…
-
I'd say something like Coup De Grace is underrated (it's not good due to the absurd requirement, but the effect is good enough for it to be atleast a C tier perk), but Gearhead is just trash.
-
I really hope the hotfix is today. If it isn't it's either tommorow or next week ...
-
Fair, some things would just be broken with all the stacking and crap, but just do it on a case by case basis with a bit of common sense, your example of Surge I find particularly ... silly, frankly speaking, it would not be broken at all, the perk would still see little use.
-
Dude ... It's 2 brown medkits ... A DAY ! You ungratefull ******, The devs don't owe you anything, be grateful with what you get you ******* ****er !!1! Said .... Someone, propably ...
-
I love the effect, too big of a requirement for it to be viable though.
-
Survivor 8/10 Killer 9/10 I'd say Im a really good killer by base, but I sometimes make dumbass mistakes.
-
Not the first time they went back on their word, I guarantee it's not the last one either, atleast it's not an actual reward but a charm.
-
Same with the new charms, they're hidden behind codes, they're exclusives. The devs simply went back on their word already (As they have with MANY things). Overall, don't think that just because they say something, it's true, unfortunately they're not a reliable source of info on their own game, not only with the…
-
it's not toxic lol. It is annoying to do though, it forces me to just wait near a 99'ed gen until the killer comes.
-
Extremely disappointed. Like the lad above me said, it can barely be called an "event", we get no rewards (Charms are not proper rewards. Fight me.) and there are like 3 event challenges in the archives that ALSO can't really be called "event challenges", because we get no rewards for them ! (Exactly the same as normal…
-
I think it's terrible, but it's still an open map, the worst open map is still better than the best indoor map (Lery's)
-
Yeah but you've got 30 in the lobby so you can still buy cosmetics easily, that's what is important to them.
-
Now is the worst time to come back, the event we just got is pathetic. Really puts into question DBD's intentions (which have been well known for a while, money, bhvr is EXTREMELY greedy, but it's like they're not even trying to hide it at this point)
-
Oh nononono, they're so generous all the time, we only buy the base game, battle passes, dlc and cosmetics. It's obvious they have to make atleast something greedily ! Oh wait, it's all just greed greed greed.
-
haha that's a good one, I actually chuckled
-
Money
-
Then why didn't you buff it while you're at it, the perk is clearly underpowered, and whatever the intensions, it got nerfed unnecessarily.
-
Yeah they're definetly scared of making good killer perks, it's been that way for literally years now, so I wouldn't expect this to change anytime soon/ever.
-
It's definetly a nerf in my opinion, you only want the notification anyway, so even 1 second would be enough as long as you get the sound, but they're tinkering with the range, making it a lot worse on tier 1 and 2 and sometimes misleading at tier 3. A bigger issue thuogh is the fact that they're again touching things…

"Wow" is about as well as I can describe this change. Wow.
